Hyatt Regency Ningbo Hangzhou Bay

The guest services staff, particularly Xiao Zhuang, was incredibly enthusiastic and had an excellent attitude. They even gave a toy to my child. The deluxe king room was quite spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked during the National Day holiday, so we couldn't get a room upgrade. I'll definitely try again next time when it's less crowded. The hotel offers complimentary bath bags, though you need to call the front desk for them. There's also a kids' play area, but it's quite small. 😜

Traveling during the National Day holiday, the hotel was fully booked, but they proactively upgraded us to a suite, which was great! The facilities are relatively new, and the breakfast was exceptionally rich. They also delivered meals to our room at night, ensuring the food tasted good.

This is my first time writing a negative review, and this hotel made me feel like I stayed at a fake Hyatt; it's truly ridiculous. 1. I booked a king-sized bed room, but was given a room with two twin beds pushed together. Having stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I've encountered something so absurd. To make it worse, the twin room was cheaper than the king room during my stay. 2. The power outlet by the bed was broken; it couldn't hold a plug. How can a room like this be given to guests? 3. My booking included a welcome fruit platter. I checked in in the afternoon, but by 8 PM, no fruit had been delivered. I contacted Ctrip, and they said the hotel claimed they were delivering in order and it wasn't our turn yet. Absolutely preposterous. 4. In the children's wading pool, some mosaic tiles had fallen off, posing a risk of cuts. My foot actually got scraped. 5. The vanity mirror in the room was covered in dust; it clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. 6. There was a very long queue at the noodle station during breakfast. The reason? They ran out of bowls and people had to wait for them to be washed, with only five or six brought out at a time. Beyond ridiculous. Has Hyatt truly fallen this far?

This was our second stay in a themed room, and my kids still absolutely loved the room decor. They played for a long time and never got tired of it. Thanks to the hotel staff for the meticulous decoration. Also, a special thanks to Ms. Zhuang for helping us issue a belated invoice.

The staff member, Bel, who checked me in had excellent service attitude, and the room arrangement was very satisfactory. Overall, it was a great experience.

Honestly, I've stayed at many Hyatt hotels, but this one really left me with some complaints, starting with their swimming pool. It's the worst pool experience I've ever had, not because it's dirty, but because it's chaotic. It only has three swimming lanes, 1.2 meters deep, and there's no supervision. For example, when I went, I didn't see any lifeguards, which meant no one was managing the pool. Some people were just playing around in the three lanes, causing them to splash into me multiple times while I was trying to swim properly, which was extremely frustrating. I personally believe swimming lanes are for swimming, and if you want to play, there's a smaller pool next to it. Plus, with so few lanes, they even had coaches giving lessons during a holiday! So, there was no actual space for me to swim. I did complain to the hotel afterwards, and they told me the pool is outsourced, so they can't do anything about it. That really bothered me. I chose this hotel because of the 'Hyatt' brand, but when I'm swimming here, you tell me it's outsourced and you can't control it? I question that, and the hotel didn't give me a satisfactory answer. I can only share my real experience so others can consider it before choosing. I hope they can sort out the pool; it's not good to have a swimming pool without any lifeguards. I went twice, and both times I didn't see a single lifeguard! Don't tell me they just stepped away; I was swimming for an hour and didn't see anyone!

The lobby is elegant and the service is attentive. The room is clean and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the amenities are complete, making for a very pleasant stay. A special shout-out to Elara for her excellent service attitude.

I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, they held my car keys for me, and helped me resolve all my issues. The service quality was top-notch. Highly recommended.
