We really enjoyed our stay at Taawaki Inn. The location is perfect — close to the Verde Canyon Railroad, Jerome, and Cottonwood — which made exploring the area so easy. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-kept, with great amenities and friendly staff. I especially loved the mountain views and the comfortable lounge chairs out back, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We booked a King Room which was spacious. It had a mini fridge, microwave, k-cup machine with a variety of drink selections and a flat screen TV. I would have loved to watch Netflix or something other than DirectTV but it seems like it's not something they offer. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh options like eggs, blueberry muffins and orange juice. Everything felt thoughtful and well-prepared. No pre-packaged pastries or cereal which we were glad for. Overall, I highly recommend Taawaki Inn for anyone visiting the area — it’s a great blend of comfort, convenience, and beautiful scenery!

Ok for the price Overall it was pretty ok. A little off the beaten path, but my wife ended up liking Cottonwood and Jerome better than Sedona, so it worked out. I appreciate free breakfast when offered, but this was 95% pastries. Good pastries, but a little protein wouldn’t hurt. Had the ADA room, and the shower head was impossible. There was no way to set it in the cradle without it spraying onto the bathroom floor. Just a really poorly designed system. Bed was a little hard, but I managed. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

Beautiful, new modern hotel. Artistically decorated public areas. Super breakfast experience. Free lip gloss. Elevator and ample parking. Huge room and comfy beds. Welcoming staff. Check in is at 4pm. There was only 1 small sliver of soap for 2 people. The pocket door to the bathroom did not move smoothly. The lighting is very dim from the bedside wall sconces. You could not read in the room after sunset. A bright light was at the entrance but insufficient to light the entire room.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. And don’t get me started on the view! It was spectacular. We also thought the selection of fresh baked pastries were delicious. Thank you to the breakfast staff because they were most gracious. Everyone we encountered from checking in to checking out was extremely helpful. We hope to return one day ❤️

Awkward experience We left a tip for the maid the first morning. We came back to our room, the tip was gone, but the room had not been serviced. Upon making management aware they responded with a 20% discount for the 1 night. We are thankful for that but unfortunately we have lost confidence in the hotel and will not be returning. What else would have been taken, if available?

our stay here was nice, but we stayed 3 days and wasnt brought clean towels or xtra coffee. no room service at all. first day we didnt want any but second and third night we left no sign on our door.but overall place was nice. just need a little more in service for the price

The facility was gorgeous and has a fantastic view. However our bathroom had a design flaw in the shower. The shower curtain drains outside the shower onto the floor causing the bathroom floor to get completely covered in water. I reported it. Its a gorgeous shower - hopefully just moving the rod further back into the shower will solve the problem.

Very clean property. Beautiful views. My wife and I stayed 1 night as we had a family event. Just outside of old town and Clarkdale.
