the bed, tub and kitchen were very clean, but the carpet was all-over sticky, and I assume this is because people with pets have allowed the pets to use the carpet. Most of the other "guests" in the building gave the appearance it was being used as a homeless shelter or half-way house, and every time I came in, I kicked a rock away that was being used to prop open the door so anyone could come in. Never again.

I work in house keeping for another Choice hotel. So I know the first thing to check is the bedding. When I tell you to go elsewhere, I mean it. The mattress cover and sheets were DISGUSTING! They also tried to cancel our 2 queen bed reservation just hours before we arrived because they no longer had any available. The reservation was made 2 weeks in advance! So we had to split up adults and kids into 2 single rooms. The other room was just as filthy!

Check-in was ok. From there it went down hill. The carpets in the hallways are disgusting. The room was damp and stuffy. The beds were uncomfortable, bathroom and walls were dirty. The kitchen area was ok, the refrigerator was not cleaned from the person before. There were lots of construction workers staying there and they were loud. We will not stay here again.

Many physical and service issues led to a disappointing stay. When brought up to management, nothing was done. How does a business operating in such a shoddy manner stay open?

This property scammed us. They turned us away at 11pm saying they did not have a room for us, and when we called to get a refund they refused.

We had never stayed in one of these types of facility before so maybe that was the problem -- we didn't know what to expect. First the positives -- it was surface clean and it was quiet. That's all I can say positive. The room needed a deep cleaning -- the smell was horrible. We assumed they had smokers in there previously for a long time. The smell even got in our clothes! One of the ceiling lights was out. The side security door was propped open with a rock everytime we returned. The second day there was a policeman in the lobby talking to a resident -- about some problem. Why did we stay the 3 days -- there was a major event and places were booked.

Walked into room husband used the bathroom and we walked out and asked for a refund. There were roaches in the bathroom it was filthy The hall meat carpeting was black like it had never been cleaned. The bathroom floor had a film on it that made your feet slip. The walls in the room had pop or something running down them. It was all around disgusting Only giving it a one rating bc I have to it won’t let me leave a 0

Property is not very old but you can tell us not being maintained well. Some questionable folks walking around. There are nicer hooters nearby but I’m cheap.

Do not trust the 4 star rating, it’s very misleading. I would not recommend staying here, spend the extra money and stay elsewhere. I stayed 5 nights (March 2023) with my boyfriend, only because we couldn’t get a refund if we left early. This whole property, room included, was outdated and dirty. Exterior doors don’t lock so anyone can get into the building without a room key card. The lights in the room were yellow and really dim, the shower water temperature was inconsistent and mostly cold. One of the stove top knobs was broken off, used toothpaste had been left in the bathroom & surfaces had not been wiped down. Dishwasher smelled and was full of dirty dishes, walls are very thin so we heard everyone’s conversations and TVs from our room & in the halls. Both the freezer and refrigerator felt warm and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. A few of the electric outlets didn’t work and the ones that did work didn’t really charge our phones etc. Really disappointing experience, this place needs to be renovated and deep cleaned.
