Overall a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and wonderful and the shower was above expectation. The only negative of the stay was the check in process. I arrived about 45 minutes early and had called ahead about an early check in. I was told to go to the desk when I arrived and they would check to see if a room was available. The woman working check in was extremely rude not only to me but to others in line as well. She refused to see if rooms were ready for people arriving and just told them check in wasn’t until 4 and they had to come back. She told me I didn’t have a reservation and made me search frantically for my reservation which she did end up finding. She blatantly ignored peoples questions by just looking away and not answering them. As the first point of contact for guests this was a major negative. Other than her, everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and welcoming. My only recommendation would be to have breakfast available before 7am since many people have to leave early for appointments and therefore don’t get to eat.

My occasion to stay was for an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic. The location is very convenient. There is a complimentary shuttle service to the clinic, but it was so close that I chose to walk (maybe 2 -3 blocks to the heart hospital. Weather was great and I enjoyed the walk. The staff was super friendly from check in to check out. When I left in the morning to walk to my appointment they made sure that I knew where I was going. Staff was all wearing masks due to Covid risks, but you could tell that they were still smiling through their masks. So kind and helpful!

The room was up to date. Tru offered a complimentary hot breakfast. Breakfast room was comfortable and bright. Tru offered a great common space with many different seating areas. I spent a couple of hours just reading in the common space which was surrounded by windows. The only negative is that there are no restaurants within walking distance. The location is great for visiting the museums, botanical garden and Cleveland Clinic although you will have to drive to them.

We just returned from 9 days at this hotel which we chose because it is on the Cleveland Clinic campus and connected by Skyway to everything you need related to cardiovascular needs. We booked on the concierge level mainly because reviews on the service there were so strong and we thought it would be nice to have a bit of “home away from home” outside a hotel room while going through the stress of heart valve surgery. I want to single out the team there, in particular Antoinette, for really going above and beyond to deliver and relate to the customers. Truly special employees. But similar to other reviews, I would say food was limited and not consistently good. Things seemed to be in short supply as well: one morning I overheard Antoinette on the phone trying to locate Raisin brand cereal which a client ate every day and she had to go procure it from elsewhere in the hotel to make it seamless for the client. Bottom line is concierge level is worth it for the staff but hotel needs to improve on a few things to complement them and make the price differential worth it. Like other reviews, we were treated like royalty checking in but housekeeping was lax. Keurig coffee not replaced for several days, mini bar purchase never replaced, things like that which should not happen at a hotel of this standard and price. Hotel was clean but feels dated.

The twin room was fixed, only one single bed room was left, so we gave us two single rooms. It is close to the school and the hospital, but the hotel itself is old and the service is general, mainly convenient.

The hotel room was very hot during the school season. The environment is very good, all the way to the Case Western Reserve University campus. The little squirrel running on the grass was just around the window and it felt great!

The hotel is new and clean, with a full kitchen, simple breakfast, spacious rooms and a reasonable layout. Opposite the hotel is the Rite Aid pharmacy, which contains daily necessities, except for fresh fruits and vegetables, which is very convenient. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Art Museum, and the location is excellent. Next to the art gallery is a small lake with a beautiful environment. 10 minutes by car, there are large American Super League David and Asian Super Super League Ding Hao

Just go to the Kayahoga Valley National Park for a night and there is no tour around. There is a gym next to it. When the night arrives, the game is over. The police direct the traffic and the winning team is celebrating the fireworks. Hotel service is good.

Transformational customer experience every time my accommodations are at this wonderful hotel. Beautiful building located in the heart of Cleveland. Transportation to/from airport via RTD without touching the street using Tower City stop. Rooms are different sizes depending on your booking. Poor value for money I spent 4 nights here in July 2022. It’s a pleasant hotel but there’s just no need to stay here. You’re better off staying on the outskirts of Cleveland for the following reasons: - parking here is $16 a day - breakfast is not included - there is no servicing of rooms unless you request it. There’s no discount in recognition of this reduction in service - there is little to nothing to do in downtown Cleveland. In short, underwhelmed
