thank you for everything. i had a blast staying there and going to the legendary british rock band’s concert wish i could stay longer. will definitely stay again when i visit the UK next time and do some karaoke!! thank you!

Short taxi from Oxford road station; peter was very informative when i first arrived with cameras etc (also history of pub but really just wanted to get ready and get out to town to meet friends): bed was comfortable; slight stale smell in the room (just aired it opening the window); shower room was clean enough; toilet room was also clean enough; breakfast was continental or make bacon and eggs and toast yourself; Great downstairs bar (didnt use as was there for another event); cheap drinks and karaoke available

Despite breaking down in my vehicle, I could have been collected by the owner and taken to the hotel for my reserved overnight stay. However I only was notified this lunchtime that he kindly offered such service.

Fantastic x lovely

The place was above a pub. The music was very loud and played till 1am. The place smelled like alcohol, very disturbing. Some of the guests in the bar were disturbing the guests of the hotel. I wouldn't recommend for a person who does not drink or does not like bars.

Stayed here with my partner as we had plans to go into Manchester, this is located really well with a couple pubs close by and the train station within walking distance. It wasn't a bad stay, staff were lovely and room was tidy with fresh bedding and facilities to make a tea/coffee. It was a little noisey with people banging and walking back and forward from the bathroom as you could hear everything from our room as it was located next to the shared bathroom. Breakfast too there was plenty of choice but could use some extra pans or somewhere to wash up. Great for travellers or people on a budget.
