Perfect spot for a few days. Unit was spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed including breakfast essentials for the 3 days. Easy to get in to Cobram. Very quiet location and had six friendly kangaroos on the grass this morning. Highly recommended.

The cabin is dated but immaculately clean. Donna is a lovely host. However there is very patchy internet and almost no phone coverage. We were on a working holiday and wish the lack of connection had been made clearer. Unfortunately, it’s not a non-smoking property and any smokers impact the cabin through every open door or window. We had smokers either side and continually had to shut ourselves in as the cabins are very close to each other.

This retreat is amazing, and not far from Cobram Town Centre. The cottages are immaculately clean and superbly decorated, with a full kitchen, good sized living area, very modern bathroom and lovely bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed. The property itself is very tranquil and picturesque, there is a swimming pool, golf driving range, tennis court, children's play area and a lovely barbecue area to enjoy the space. The hosts Donna and James are lovely people who believe in taking very good care of their guests, they even supply bread, eggs, butter and milk for breakfast, and a beautiful bottle of red wine. I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough, such a fantastic stay.

Our original plan was to visit Echuca with friends for a week’s stay. However, the recent floods changed our plans. Instead of an overnight stay Tokemata our stay spaned 4 marvellous days. In spite of their own flood concerns, our hosts Donna and James made every effort to ensure our time with them was an enjoyable and memorable one. The superb cottage accommodation at Tokemata Resort is set on a forty acre property which has all the facilities you would expect at a country club, tennis court, pool, basketball ring, BBQs, golf practice range. We had a hit of tennis as well as using the golf putting green. It was for the first time for many a year. The units are meticulous maintained and the bird life around the resort was incredible. In spite of its rural setting Tokemata is only a few minutes away from the coffee shops and supermarkets of Cobram.

Tokemata Retreat is everything you can dream of when planning a country break. Beautiful nature, superbly maintained territory, sparkling clean cottages, swimming pool , tennis court. Most importantly, the hosts - Donna and James. They are ready to go far and beyond to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
