Jacob Lake Inn

A clean room with an updated bathroom and new carpet. A comfy bed and decent AC. My wife hated the nightstands, but I liked them quite a bit. Somehow we're still together. The dresser with a broken drawer could be tossed. The shower had nice hot water, but the water stream definitely helped clean your scalp with the pressure. The internet is slow, but then you're in the middle of nowhere, so be happy you have internet. There isn't a microwave, mini-fridge, nor breakfast, or other amenities, but it's priced accordingly too. An low hum next door for room #103, but not enough to disrupt sleep. While the front desk lady wasn't unkind, she definitely forgot how to smile. Maybe it was my bald head. The stars were incredible, but no milky way with the moon. Hopefully you have better luck. Overall a good choice for a place to stay.

We were looking for a place to stay that was near Coyote Buttes South for our hike to Cottonwood Cove the next morning. To that end, Jacob Lake Inn was fine. The “hotel” room was clean and comfortable and the A/C unit was quiet and efficient. I knew there was no coffee maker in the room, so I brought my own. There was also no mini-fridge which would’ve been nice. There was a smoke alarm base in the ceiling but no smoke alarm. The multi-purpose toilet paper not only cleans your bum, it also can remove warts, polyps, and dermatitis lesions.

It’s an old Dump building, the toilet was very loose on the floor mounting, water sprays at your feet when you flush, no heater working, No t.v, Built in the 60’s, not recommended by no means. Will not stay there again. Nor recommend my family or friends to stay there.

A friend and I recently stayed in a lodge room at Jacob Lake Inn for one night and were very happy staying there. It was a good location while visiting the north rim, although a little farther than we had anticipated. The room and bed were very comfortable. But what we really enjoyed were the very friendly people working there and the food at the restaurant. I would make one suggestion, which is the same as what another traveler wrote. It would be nice if they had coffee makers in the room or served at least coffee early for early risers who want to get on the road before 7 AM.

The best part of my stay was the delightful young man who checked us in, very friendly and welcoming. The room smelled very musty and was outdated however it was clean and comfortable. Had a chain on the door but no latch for it! No amenities for when restaurant is closed. No coffee available for early risers. Way overpriced.

No coffee pot in room. No hair dryer and room. Towels were yellow from just being used so much. And pathway from Motel to Cafe cluttered

Location to North Rim Grand Canyon fantastic. Great food options & cookies! Enjoyed gift shop & art work. Staying somewhere with history was interesting.

I recently stayed at Jacob's Lake Inn near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The inn is located in a beautiful area, and its proximity to the Grand Canyon made it incredibly convenient for exploring. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit the North Rim!

Super nice employees. Very good food. Comfortable homey lodge, gift shop and dining areas, drive but convenient to the North Rim. Cabin worked well for us. Had small shower and bathroom. Comfortable full size bed. It was small yet quite adequate. We could just slightly hear the folks on the other side of the cabin, but not a problem for us. Parking was just beside the cabin, so very convenient. The employees were terrific, really friendly, seemed to enjoy their jobs. We ate at the counter rather than the dining room because it was fun meeting other diners. Would definitely stay there again.
