One of the best hotels! Isolated from everything but includes whatever you may need during your stay! It has a pool, a gym, meeting room and steam bath ! It you rent a room with food included it is completely worth it because if you ask “a la carte” can get pretty expensive! All the meals are made from a chef very aesthetic and very tasty The staff are very polite!

The rooms are air-conditioned with warm and cold air, very clean and tidy, and the hot water is great. The ventilation fan in the toilet will automatically turn off at night and turn on during the day. Three languages are spoken at the front desk and the service is also very good. Overall the price/performance ratio is very good, the room can see the Mondego River, opposite the park, there is Burger King nearby, and the central street of Coimbra is 5 minutes' walk away. European hotels do not provide toiletries and there are no slippers in the rooms. Very satisfied.

The location is excellent: although it is not so close to the main attractions of the city, it is in a region with several transport options, as well as supermarkets and food sites. The price is a big difference, with good accommodation with excellent room at an excellent price. Even without air conditioning and making much warm during the day, having the windows partially open at night was more than enough to have a good night sleep. It needs attention to details on repairs that are not very expensive and, because they have not been done, they end up giving a bad look to a room that has been renewed recently: the tower is not very fixed in the movie, a curtain cannot be collected and the shower is not well fixed on the support during the bath. The service is quite welcome, however, only for additional information, we had problem in requesting to leave our travel bags before check-in, because we would still arrive in the city morning: I know that this is not a obligation The hotel is a hotel with a view to the hotel, but one of the reasons for booking this hotel was just because we received the confirmation that we could leave our stuff in the hotel before check-in (which takes place at 15:00). Hotel is by beach . Room is big and clean. Breakfast is very good. The supermarket is in next door. The town Sitio near Nazare is on the cliffs. The views are very beautiful and looks down the beach and town. It worths the visit. The parking on the hilltop is limited but if you go there early , you are still able to find place to park. The receptionist is very good and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening, I found flat tire. The young guy worked at the front desk helped me to call the rental car company to solve the problem. I definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Beautiful historic hotel, comfy rooms, clean, quiet, fast hot water, loved the elevator, perfect location, nice breakfast, delicious coffee. The highlight was how helpful Louisa was with our confusing issue with the trains going on strike. She immediately researched our journey and found us solutions. I was amazing and will be forever grateful! From the moment I explained our predicament she went above and beyond to help us. The hotel alone was fabulous but Louisa is the diamond in this palace!

This is a nice, clean, modern hotel but there are pros and cons as follows :- Pros - Clean, well appointed rooms which we found to be quiet Very nice bar/lounge with TV Barman switched the channel so we could watch an English soccer game (although he did keep disappearing for long periods - we don’t know whether he had another job or a girlfriend somewhere else in the hotel) Pool area is very pleasant Breakfast included and it was an excellent buffet Cons - Not a major problem for us but it is a bit of a walk (at least 10 mins) into ‘town’. This could be a problem for those who are not so mobile Big tour groups are accommodated, so it was a good job that we were at breakfast right on opening time at 7am. About 30 mins later the place was swamped by a very large party Unfortunately, not every breakfast dish was ready at 7am so we did miss out on a few items. This is bad food and beverage management Since it was raining and there is nowhere else to eat close by, we had dinner in the restaurant. We thought that €25was expensive for the buffet so we ate à la carte. My rice was very dry as was my friend’s pork. Not impressed at all. Just hope you don’t want to check in or out when a tour bus arrives or is about to depart. I would have given 3 and a half stars but 3 is too low so we’ll go with 4 as the staff were all very friendly.

The hotel has a strong sense of design and VI does a good job. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The space of room is large and the bed is comfortable. Although there are not many kinds of food in breakfast, they are good quality and there is freshly squeezed orange juice.

What a terrific hotel. New, clean, quiet, comfortable room and excellent customer service from all the staff. Had a soft supportive king bed, bar refrigerator, tea and coffee station and lots of storage. Breakfast was extensive with some hot offerings (scrambled eggs and bacon), cold cuts, cheese, breads for toasting and buns plus pastries and fruit…and a coffee and tea station in a beautiful setting - either inside or out. A short walk takes you to the river walk and parks and the great restaurants are just outside the hotel door - literally. We had some wonderful pasta on one night and tried the salt cod and steak at the other place just next door.
