Foresteria Villa Margherita

The accommodation is beautiful, a 20 min walk from Colico station, set in a beautiful garden. Its peaceful and relaxing environment. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and patio furniture. The rooms are immaculately clean. Breakfast is superb with lots of choice. A sweet treat may be available if you're around in the afternoon! Bikes are available to borrow and there's plenty of cycle paths around the lake and along the river. There's only about 4/5 rooms so itll never be busy. Host was welcoming and attentive.

First of all - the host - charming Franceska - was very helpful, giving a lot of tips and her services were outstanding. Overall the place with big and clean swimming pool, big well maintained garden - so you do not have a feeling that somebody is watching you over the fence - was simply Amaizing. Great breakfast, with good selection of food. For sure if I have a chance in future to visit this part of Italy - I would love to come again.

Fantastic Villa in a great location. Francesca was our host. Really helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast really good with Fresh Fruit, meats, cheese and Home baked bread & Cakes. Colico is a great location to explore Lake Como, Bus, Train and boats can take you to anywhere on the lake. Views were Spectacular of the lake and Mountains, from our Room which had a Balcony. Weather was really good most days. We would like to thank Francesca for making our holiday a great success and look forward to returning to Foresteria Villa Margherita in Colico, Lake Como.

What a super place to stay at Lake Como, beautiful location with amazing views of the lake and mountains and a short walk to the exciting town of Colico. Our hostess (and owner) Francesca was excellent being both attentive and providing an excellent breakfast to start our day. The property is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable and if visiting Colico again, we would without hesitation, make this our place to stay.

Fantastic stay in a well equipped apartment part of the Foresteria Villa Margherita hosted by Francesca. A great week in which we were supported by splendid tips from the host on food, restaurants to go to and places to visit. We felt at home and want to come back again.

I wanted to find a place that wasn't overrun with tourist but still had beautiful views of the lake and mountains. This place has it all! The views in the pictures are real, and from the town you can access the whole of Lake Como. The bikes are an amazing help to get around if you don't enjoy driving. Everything was beautiful.

Lovely stay Our stay at the villa was amazing. We only stayed for one night and wished we had stayed longer. Francesca was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely in the morning . Also had a lovely welcome from their golden retriever! The views were amazing from our room and the pool area.. we would definitely come and stay again😊

Francesca is an excellent host. Foresteria Villa Mergherita has excellent view of Lake Como and the entire property was magnificent. We highly recommend this property, for its convenient location, super views, peaceful quiet and comfortable.
