Good value for money, super friendly staff. Fairly narrow parking spaces available depending on availability. Hotel is close to the center, short walk to the city center.

Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms were reasonably quiet, clean and comfortable. Service and breakfast were adequate. Location is about a twenty minute walk to the aldstadt/touristy section of the city, but it's nearby plenty of services and restaurants. They have on-site parking (having a small car helps.)

I arrived at the hotel and discovered that I had left my phone in the taxi that had taken me there. I was extremely distressed when checking in as this would ruin my entire holiday. The front desk manager Sonia gave me a bottle of beer and proceeded to call the main taxi companies in Koln to try and help me find my phone. She spent about an hour trying to call my phone in the hope of someone picking it up. She allowed me to e-mail my partner who was able to try calling my phone and eventually someone picked up and I was able to get it back. Sonia did not have to help me as much as she did but her kindness and professionalism helped save my whole trip. The other staff were all very friendly and helpful also which made my stay very enjoyable. My room was great - it had a kitchen area and bathroom as well as a large television. I can't speak highly enough of the place overall and the staff, especially Sonia, went above and beyond their duties to ensure I had an enjoyable stay.

The whole hotel smells of stale smoke. Absolutely terrible for a non-smoker. The nice man at the reception desk says there's nothing they can do. The guests just smoke in their rooms. Otherwise it's just uncomfortable. Not recommended.

The single rooms are super small. More like a youth hostel, definitely not 4 stars. No air conditioning in the rooms, not very pleasant in summer. The night porter wasn't even able to order a taxi when we left at 5 in the morning. The double rooms, on the other hand, should be good and large.

Central location in Cologne, very nice staff at reception, paid but secure parking space for € 15.00 in the back yard are good arguments. Room, bed, bathroom everything is excellent and you are not far from Aachener Strasse. Everything was perfect and I'll be back!

Breakfast was reminiscent of a hostel; it looked almost like it had been counted; the cheese and sausage (some of it "rolled up"); reheated rolls and croissants from the day before; lukewarm coffee from thermos flasks. All in all, for me, it's not a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, there's no hotel bar either. Positive: the staff are very friendly

**Service:** Der Check-out bzw. auch Check-in verlief wenig kompetent.
