We recently stayed at this hotel where we choose to celebrate our anniversary, it was the perfect place for us as all health & safety measures were of high standards. The room was spacious well cleaned and sanitized .Our whole stay was relaxing enjoyable and for sure we will be staying here on our next visit as we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We would like to specially mention about” Shiva” at the front desk who dealt with our booking to the point of checking he is very knowledgeable, friendly and had great customer service. Although the departure was a bit unsatisfying , as when I requested for a late checkout until 1pm I , was informed by the front desk (lady) that I have to pay half the room rate just for an additional half hour as she offered me the departure time until 12.30pm which sounds a bit crazy as the arrival time says 2pm LCO could be charged if the client exceeds this timings . Would appreciate if the management could consider the above request as it could be managed case by case. Overall we were so happy with the service , staff and the hotel.

I saw the hotel that the website said that there are children's entertainment facilities, I was still thinking, I've been there a few times, but I didn't find any children's entertainment facilities, it really isn't! This point should modify the web page introduction. The hotel has a good view, the beach is clean and flat, and the service is excellent. A very tasteful hotel, full of British colonial style, is worth a try.

Overall, it's okay. The price is relatively cheap in the capital. I thought it wouldn't be a good stay at this price. The overall feeling is okay, but the disposable items are a bit rough. The hostel has the best location: really calm area, just 200mts from the beach and 15 minutes by train from the city center (Colombo). Good atmosphere. Amazing common area. Beautiful sea view. We visited C1 Fort hotel Colombo end March 2023, as a couple. The hotel is located in the center of Colombo, close to the Fort train station and World Trade Center. The location serves as an excellent starting point for exploration of Sri Lanka's biggest city. Modern and tidy reception floor and kind and smiling staff make sure that your needs are attended to quickly. We needed an early check-in and it was no problem to arrange it. The room was very big and featured good AC system. Prices are fair and affordable. Guests (especially smokers) will love this place because it features very big covered rooftop terrace, outfitted with ventilators. Morning cofee or a nightcap with a view to the city you will not forget. Right next to the hotel there is a bar where you can bring your drinks from, and just around the corner there is big souvenir shop (Laksala – State owned gift and souvenir shop) with low prices. If you are starting your Sri Lanka tour from here it may be advisable to buy some souvenirs here, because the same items will be considerably more expensive if you buy them elsewhere around the country. Currency exchange point is conveniently located 20m from the hotel entrance, tuk tuk ride as well. The Fort district with restaurants is 5 min walk from the hotel. When we come back to Colombo, we will certainly come back to stay at this place, there is no better recommendation.
