The hotel room was clean and spacious! I booked a standard room but was given a free upgrade to a sea view room, that was really kind of the receptionist. The view from my room was great too.

Great location with amazing view. Where you can enjoy the beach view, the trains come and go while a handful of food places around the hotel. Can visit to Fort station and surrounding as well as Mount Lavinia area.

Good hotel and beautiful and clean. It is very convenient to go shopping and have foods. There are many options!

I had a very bad experience and felt angry during my stay. The bathroom was in poor condition. When I took a shower, the water did not drain properly, and the floor remained flooded. The sink and faucet were also blocked. The bathroom light was partially broken due to water damage, which was unsafe and unpleasant. This situation was disgusting and unacceptable. The food was also not good—just very basic and below expectations. Overall, I am disappointed and do not recommend this hotel unless these issues are fixed.

My room smelled like sewage, a strong smell that literally made me sick on a daily. The staff tried to dampen the smell by throwing liquids down the drain, but once you use the taps, the smell is back again. Ive seen reviews about the smell, but thought it was temporary issue at the time it was written. The curtains are visibly dirty and in need of a simple wash. Other than that the room is spacious the aircon works well. The view is beautiful with the trains passing daily against the ocean waves. Big spoon restaurant is s few steps away serving massive portions- a must try. Tuktuks and taxi are also parked right infront of the hotel. Hopefully the sewage smell can be resolved soon...its a good hotel but that smell will never make me book it again.

The hotel strategically position it self on the beach,which make it popular and attractive.i enjoyed the room selected Premier Sea View with Balcony also the staff were professional and nice.However due to the Cyclone Ditwah were forced to be in our rooms for about 2 to 3 days nkt enjoying as much as per say. The staff like Dasun was very helpful with check in process and other issue.The room was specious,clean and provided safe deposit which comes very in handy sometimes.The breakfast and dinner was delicious especially tomato's soup and fried chicken rice. Thank you chef and the night waiter, sorry i did not get his name.

I love Marine Bay hotel and the staff. Most of them were very good. Can enjoy delicious food. Pastries and cakes also very good
