We paid very little money to stay at this hotel and that reflects in our review.
There was no 24hr desk as stated.
There was no restaurant.
Even though there was a kettle there were no tea or coffee.
The young lad who seemed to be on duty all the time was lovely and very helpful.
The room was very damp and obviously hadn’t been used for a long time. Paint stains all over the carpet and toilet blocked.

I stayed with Chinese families three times in total when I went to Colombo. First of all, the transportation is convenient. There is a Tuk-Tuk bus at the door. When you go out, you can cross the overpass to the train station, which is convenient for going anywhere. The boss was very nice and asked his staff to accompany us to buy phone cards. When he saw that I had a sprained foot, he also provided free plaster. It has helped our family of four a lot. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant with good taste, and it is very convenient to pay via WeChat. The room was also clean and tidy, and I had a good rest. Conversion plugs and mosquito coils are provided. The service is also very good and very enthusiastic. There is a local guy at the front desk who can speak Chinese and said that his Chinese was taught by the boss. Very satisfied with the accommodation experience, I will come back again next time I go to Colombo! It is really our Chinese home in Colombo!

If only for one night before departure and looking for a budget... but I can’t really recommend it... We checked into a double room (conditionally clean), instead of the paid triple one (we didn’t argue, because we came as two people)
