We checked into the hotel on 31st noon, while we were having a beer at the pool bar we saw staff work so hard to arrange the setup for the night then in the early evening rain started so they have to rearrange their entire event inside the hotel huge challenge but they manage this well, 31st event very well organized.

Its a must visit! Fantastic hotel with great poolarea, private beach great service and the best food in sri lanka. Affordable for most people for that kind of excelent standard. Short distance from everything worth seeing in Colombo. Just book and enjoy😊

My husband and I were due to take the train from Mount Lavinia Station to Belliata; however, it was running 2 hours late so we walked up to the hotel in the hope of getting a cool drink whilst we waited. Even though we weren't guests, the welcome, and great service we received from everyone was wonderful. The location looked amazing and we'd love to come back here and actually stay if we come back to Sri Lanka again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome

The ambience was excellent! It was my first time and it made my meeting with an old school friend extra special. The high tea was exceptionally good and staff were very friendly. Glad we chose to meet at one of Colombo’s best known landmarks that played a part in history.

We have stayed at the Mount Lavinia many times over 25 years and they never fail to please. The staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to help. The food and restaurants cannot be faulted in anyway. The range of different food on offer each day is amazing and always so fresh. The hotel offers a wonderful colonial feel combined with modern times. Rooms are maintained to a very high standard This is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. A special thank you must go to Mr Thissa Lal, Endra, Dimuthu, Ifan Mackie and Aruni for their professionalism and kindness. It is not possible to name all those people that make this hotel so special but from the Front Door men through the whole hotel you never fail to do an excellent job and are fantastic ambassadors for the Mount Lavinia. Hi everyone I am a member of club Mahindra and had got an opportunity to stay at mount Lavinia srilanka. I would recommend everyone to go with family to this hotel its In wonderful location. And Mr Mr Kevin at the reception was very helpful and a wonderful person and he made me feel like home and very comfortable. Immediately will attend if there is any problem I was so happy with Mr kevin. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back to stay in this hotel at Srilanka. Great hotel at a great location all rooms sea facing and lovely for the eye to watch and the food also was very good and tasty . Best place to stay at Sri Lanka .
