Perfect and modern cabin. Well appointed, spacious, relaxing, located in a very quiet area and only 15 minutes from Golden. Beautiful view of the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools you need. Enough outlets for all your electronic devices. Beds were comfy. The sofa and chairs were relaxing and we took advantage of the fireplace! Had only one issue: the bedroom is upstairs while the bath is downstairs on the first level. Both my wife and I during our stay missed the last step once during the night. Since coming home and writing this we do not have a good suggestion to the owner on how to solve this issue. Maybe a nightlight: we kept the bathroom light on all night so that would not help. If anyone has trouble with steps they may want to reconsider the cabin. But if you are looking for a place to stay in Golden to explore British Columbia this is the place!

My husband and I stayed at the lodge for three nights. We could not have chosen a better place. The lodge is beautiful, it is close to the downtown so you have access to restaurants in 10 minutes but it is also away from town so you have time to relax in the middle of the forest. Even though Lucille and Jonathan weren't there Nancy gave us the most amazing experience. We had a great time and we will be recommending this to everyone.

We visited the lodge for 3 nights as part of a road trip through the Rockies . We stayed in one of the two separate cabins adjacent to the main lodge . From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and fully at home . The lodge is a few miles outside Golden in a very remote and peaceful spot .. we saw a deer strolling across the meadow in front of our cabin whist drinking our evening beer … and we took advantage of the brilliantly equipped cabin to eat in each night of our stay . We did though have the superb breakfast in the main lodge each morning .. on the last morning this was cheerfully delivered to us in our cabin as the main lodge was full of guests . A very special place with great hosts and staff !

Moberley Lodge is a special experience, and it far exceeded already high expectations. The hosts make you feel relaxed on arrival and throughout. The rooms were so comfortable and the wrap around balcony meant that we had our own personal space to sit out in the evenings. Breakfast was a homemade delight, made with love and always set us up for the day. The communal spaces were comfortable and cosy too. We would book again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful and peaceful property! Very welcoming and attentive hospitality from Lucille, Jonathan & their team. Amazing freshly cooked breakfast to start your day and only a short 10 minute drive into town for lunch & dinner. Our room was upstairs, spacious, and quiet with a great balcony and mountain view (picture below from our balcony). The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. A beautiful location for either a summer adventure or winter vacation! Thank you Lucille, Jonathan & your team for making our stay so memorable, we will definitely be back!

Great place, great service with a smile Truly enjoyed our stay. Lovely breakfast, homemade with fresh fruits Hot tub outside very nice and super relaxing after a hike. Rooms and lodge interior just the way you love to have a mountain lodge. Golden is only 8 km away and easy to reach for many dinner options

We chose this as a rest time between ski resorts, such a great decision to stay here and not in the generic Highway motels. The setting is delightful and the hosts so friendly, we felt as if we were staying with friends. A delicious homemade breakfast is a real bonus. Super comfortable beds with nice bed linens adds up to a restful sleep. Don’t miss this place if you’re planning on staying near Golden on the Trans-Canada Highway…

Our our 12th stop on our x-canada trip. WOW. We had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at this beautiful lodge. Can't say enough good things. wonderful hosts, clean, super comfy accommodations. The views. Close to downtown Golden for shopping, dining. Day trips to Skywalk, Lake Louise, Banff, etc. Cabins for groups or lodge for couples. Gourmet Breakfast was such a treat.

Really great experience. Comfy pull out and upper beds. Attentive managers. Would stay again, would recommend. Warm and cozy. This is crazy to need 200 characters to post I have nothing else to say! ..............................................
