Although not everyone starts planning the journay from enviromantal friendly places, the owners of AlPonticello take it very seriously. The hotel is clean, comfy, with a very good breakfast. They serve a good coffee. Not to mention this all I situated in the center of the charming (small Venice like) town with its own history. 1 hour drive to Ferrara and only 30 min to Ravenna .

This family-owned and operated CYCLIST-FRIENDLY hotel was a gem find. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kept us informed throughout the booking process. The ethos of the hotel is about living sustainably. Our bikes were parked securely. The rooms are colourful, quirky and really-well-appointed.

If you ever plan visiting Comacchio, there is just one place you should consider staying. Al Ponticello is a family owned B&B and our experience was fantastic. Very nice and quiet rooms in the center of this stunning little village facing one of the little channels. Sarah, Riccardo and the entire team are so nice and helpful in everything they do. They give you tips for excursions, restaurants, city trips… and offer organized sunset trips to Boscoforte which you should definitely do. They also serve excellent breakfast every morning, so that you always have a perfect start into an exciting day. With Bologna, Ferrara and Ravenna on your doorstep you can easily plan for a week stay, and yes, if possible bring your bikes to explore the Po Delta National Park (there is also the possibility of renting bikes). Overall „a real home away from home“. Highly recommendable had a fantastic stay !!!

This was a fantastic place to stay and explore Comacchio. The hotel is aesthetically so nice inside, especially the downstairs area. The breakfast was excellent and the shower the best we have had on the trip. The bed was also very comfortable. But most of all Riccardo and Sarah were excellent hosts and it was great to see their passion for the environment and where they live. We would love to stay here again and venture out further into the Po delta. We came out of season but I'd still recommend it, we saw spectacular birds and the town is lovely. Thanks, Joe and Heidi x

A wonderful place to stay in a fabulous town. Al Ponticello is a lovely place to stay, right on the canal, with the added bonus of parking on site. Sarah and Riccardo couldn't have done more to make our stay truly memorable. A very nice room overlooking the canal, quiet and very comfortable Camacchio is a most beautiful place on the Po Delta. It is full of character and canals. Good restaurants and very peaceful, if a little busy at weekends. We hoped to see a few birds at the start of our Italian city trip. It could not have been better. Riccardo took us on a tour of the Boscoforte reserve which was truly remarkable. We were surprised by the quality and quantity of bird life that we saw. Bee Eaters, Rollers, Red-footed Falcon, Pygmy Cormorant, Egrets, Spoonbill and many more waders. We highly recommend a stay in this wonderful place which has the added attraction for birdwatchers. A trip to the Boscoforte reserve is a great experience for anyone who likes nature.

Ambiente pulito, profumato. Titolare solare e molto gentile e simpatico. Camera ben insonorizzata e climatizzata. Doccia molto spaziosa. Possibilità di scelta del cuscino. Colazione a buffet ottima, buona e abbondante quel tato che basta. Da tornarci.

Il B&B è un piccolo gioiello che si affaccia direttamente sul canale. La nostra camera (mini deluxe) deliziosa, potrei definirlo un piccolo nido. Arredata con cura nei minimi dettagli, pulitissima, bagno spazioso e completo di tutto (una doccia enorme) con un tocco di gentilezza in più... una piccola lucina verde all'interno del box doccia che permette di notte di muoversi senza dover accendere luci fastidiose per chi ci sta vicino. I titolari? Fantastici. Riccardo ci ha accolto come se fossimo amici da sempre, con una cordialità e simpatia che conquistano subito, ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Ci ha proposto un'escursione nella natura che è stata veramente interessante e piacevole. Che altro posso dire? Che spero di tornare presto e che consiglio di soggiornare al Ponticello.

5 stelle meritate! Ottima posizione, parcheggio privato, eccellente accoglienza, camera e pulizia TOP, ottima colazione. Difficile trovare di meglio! Dispiaciuti di non aver potuto fare l'escursione a Boscoforte nella laguna con Riccardo... sarà per prossima volta!

Ottimo B&B in posizione centrale vicino ai 3 ponti . Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti ed è stato tutto perfetto .Siamo riusciti anche a fare un'escursione al bosco forte accompagnati da Riccardo che, con le sue spiegazioni,lo ha reso molto interessante. La struttura è molto bella e curata. Le stanze ampie ben arredate e pulitissime come pure il bagno. La colazione non l'abbiamo provata. Consigliatissimo

Il soggiorno in questo b&b ha reso molto piacevole la nostra prima volta in Comacchio. Gestori gentilissimi senza essere invadenti, struttura curata e pulita, colazione ottima. Abbiamo apprezzato l'attenzione all'ambiente e al territorio, e la posizione (la foto che allego è stata scattata dalla finestra della nostra camera). Comodissimo il parcheggio privato. Torneremo per continuare ad esplorare questa zona interessantissima e molto particolare.

Abbiamo alloggiato al Ponticello durante il weekend di Halloween e siamo stati accolti dal calore garbato dei "padroni di casa" Riccardo e Sarah. La struttura è una bomboniera e si trova letteralmente a due passi dal centro della placida Comacchio. Le camere, così come le parti comuni, sono arredate con gusto, curate nei dettagli e la sensazione di pulizia è pervasiva. Colazione super con ampia varietà di proposte dolci/salate oltre ad opzioni vegane e gluten free. Molto apprezzate anche le escursioni guidate con Riccardo alla scoperta di angoli sospesi, aneddoti e curiosità molto interessanti e utili da sapere (e divulgare!) Ci rivedremo!

B&B bellissimo, in centro. Camere belle e pulite, colori naturali e biancheria da letto bianca! Beauty kit disponibile! Il personale alla reception gentilissimo. Parcheggio comodo, in prossimità della struttura. Il B&B è situato in una zona tranquillla ma centrale.

B&b molto carino, nel centro storico, parcheggio privato comodissimo. Camera e bagno grandi, letto molto comodo. Pulizia impeccabile, ottima colazione. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e molto disponibili, anche con la nostra prenotazione last minute. Consigliatissimo per visitare Comacchio e dintorni

Abbiamo soggiornato pochi giorni fa in qst struttura. Che dire? Ogni dettaglio sembrava pensato per noi. Gentilezza, accoglienza familiare, stanza appena ristrutturata con tanta attenzione. Letti comodissimi per un riposo al di là delle aspettative. Servizi eccellenti . Si percepisce la passione di Riccardo e Sarah .. Grazie. A presto.
