Excellent room very comfortable. Staff so helpful. Excellent location beautiful views.

As we were staying for one night only we weren't TOO fussy. We got a family room which was also kitted out for wheelchair user. Our view was of a tall, solid concrete wall. Friends stayed in a bright, sunny room looking out over the harbour.. Choose your room carefully if you are staying for a while and like a pleasant view. Breakfast was just okay. I had poached eggs on avocado, peanut rayu and sourdough. Felt it had too many flavours. Would like to have seen some simple breakfast options on the menu. Several dishes served with hollandaise sauce. I also noticed a few flies hovering around the food area. Would not rush to stay there again even though location was fabulous looking out over the harbour.

Absolutely stunning location - sea view rooms were incredible and well worth it! Spacious, clean rooms. Food is incredible - 10/10. I must give extra thanks to the hotel manager - Marita! An absolute superstar and nothing was too much trouble for her! Tennis and football/basketball courts and exercise equipment straight opposite the hotel - 2 min walk. Will most definitely be returning to this hotel when visiting Schull!

We’ve just had a lovely stay at Schull Harbour Hotel for my niece’s 40th birthday celebration and couldn’t fault it. The location is absolutely beautiful, overlooking the sea and harbour, with stunning views that made the whole stay feel really special. The hotel had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great quality food. The manager couldn’t do enough for us ! The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean, and it was the perfect base for exploring Schull and the surrounding areas. We all had such a wonderful time and would definitely return. Highly recommend for a relaxing break in a stunning setting.

What a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We had a wonderful short stay at the hotel recently and it was a very relaxing experience. Our room was lovely, plenty of room, spotlessly clean and with a beautiful sea view. I had contacted the hotel late to change my booking from a classic room to a sea view and they upgraded me to a room with an amazing view - big thank you to Erin. This trip was a break following a family bereavement and I really wanted to have peace and quiet and space away from it all, and it certainly delivered. The pool, steam room and sauna were very enjoyable. Dinner in the hotel bar was very tasty - it is more like a restaurant than a bar. Breakfast was delicious and there was a very good choice of options. Location is right in Schull so very convenient, especially with free parking directly across the road. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the bath towels provided in the room were quite small. Bigger towels would be better.

Fantastic hotel - felt like we were staying with friends, a genuine home from home. Definitely recommended as a place to stay on your Wild Atlantic Way trip. We hope to return.

Lovely location, and lots of potential, but in need of investment in facilities and training. All the staff we encountered were lovely (big props to the Spaniard in the restaurant), but hotel staff were unable to assist us with: no hot water in our room (Apt 5), and no cold water in our friends room (Apt 8). Advised that as it was the weekend, nothing could be done. (I’d assume that weekends during peak season are exactly when you’d want to have staff available). Not could they assist when our friend’s smoke detector went off more than a dozen times over the weekend (including in the middle of the night), disturbing all the neighbouring apartments too. This, coupled with worn out carpets, baseboards coming away from the walls etc, meant that we had an experience that was less than expected, considering the price we paid for this accommodation.

My first experience of the hotel was Jacinta, who both welcomed me and checked me out when I left. Jacinta was kind enough to provide me with lots of local information, both as a visitor and for the business purposes of my journey to Cork. TJ from the Food and Beverage Team was on hand to assist when I left my key card in my suite and later when I had a specific issue/request with the breakfast menu on my day of departure. I remain grateful to both staff members and to the bar, restaurant and leisure centre team for their hospitality and kindness throughout. A great experience in an unforgettably beautiful place which I cannot wait to repeat! The hotel was good value, menu choices sufficiently varied for the duration of my stay and nearby parking convenient and user friendly. Great work J and TJ. Thanks again.

Saw a deal on Rory's Travel Club for this hotel and took a gamble on it. Safe to say that gamble paid off. Great friendly staff (shout out Jacinta at reception who couldn't have been nicer and more helpful). We got upgraded to a spotlessly clean apartment and it was a great experience( the shower was a dream). We had dinner in the hotel and as someone who loves a good meal, this was an exceptional meal and for a good price. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back for sure, 100 percent. Can't fault my stay here at all. If you're considering staying here, just book it.

Spent 3 nights and from start to finish it was a lovely hotel to stay in. The room was spotless, had everything you would need. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.. will definitely be staying again.

Stayed for 4 nights. Good food great atmosphere excellent staff could not do enough for us. Rooms very comfortable. Hopefully will stay again in the near future.

Excellent central location, with spectacular view. The apartments are spacious and well maintained Staff are very accomodating. Will recommend.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of May as part of a large group. We were blessed with glorious weather too. The hotel rooms, restaurants, indoor and outdoor social areas were perfect, special mention for the amazing breakfast offer. The staff teams were just great and made us feel so welcome and provided info on various trips…. Well done all, we will be back
