Premier Inn Cork City Centre

The corridors had a terrible stale odor. The room bathroom smelled. Room was comfortable but alot of loud noises from the building with wind and rain.

Overall, it was fine. I had planned to stay in another much fancier hotel nearby, but ended up staying here as I had an issue with my credit card. Hotel is clean, safe, and quiet. Located very close to the centre of the city. Our room had a view of the river. If you try and check in before 15:00, then you need to pay €15 extra. This is absolutely insane. This also led to a huge queue of people waiting to check in, so we had to wait from 14:40 to 15:15 before checking in. No bottled water provided in the room, but don't worry because you can buy it from the vending machine downstairs. Only €3 for 500 ml! 😂 No toothbrushes provided either which is probably a government rule, but come on, they can be recycled. I guarantee you half of the people forget to bring one and go somewhere nearby to buy one anyways. I called reception twice around 09:45 to get new towels and nobody answered. You get what you pay for I guess. It was fine, but I won't stay there again.

Great hotel. Located in the centre of Cork, so it's easy to get to almost any part of the city. Everything is clean and cosy. Receptionists and other staff were very welcoming and helpful. Best choice for this price.

The hotel is well located but it is not very clean

Great location! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved being able to hang out in the lounge and play cards.

Be aware booked through trip.com and money came out of my credit card when I booked the room. At check in the receptionist had no record of this and I was charged again. I brought this to the attention of another staff member and was told they will refund me. Be aware if you have paid before check in

The hotel is nicely situated at the water and close to the city centre. The room is very spacious and clean. Gut english breakfast was served. Only down side: there was no HDMI outlet on the TV.

Excellent stay in a very central location. The staff member (unfortunately did not get his name) on duty when we were picking up our bags which we had left behind reception was extremely professional at dealing with multiple issues on his own - very impressed with the way he efficiently and politely dealt with everybody.
