Great stay staff were very friendly and nice cheap price and clean rooms and very close to everything

It was a good stay. It was very close to the city centre and train station so it was very easy to walk around and find it. It was on a street with one of the most famous pubs so a bit noisey on the evenings but if you don't mind then it is a good hotel.

Great hotel and nice staff. Walls are thin. Got a good night sleep. What more could you want. View of the rooftop of connected building.

Staff service is very good, friendly and polite The location is great and the bed is very comfortable There was a strong smell in the room when we first entered, but we managed to overcome it The cross in the middle of the toilet window is see-through, so we had to cover it with a towel

Whilst the hotel is centrally located there’s a few improvements that would need looking at. The taps in the bathroom are what you’d find in public toilets, not great having to hold down to get water. The high double bed ( big single) would be ok for children given it is the 4’6” bed. Given the price paid for accommodation, the place needs a serious upgrade. Value for money: no. Would I recommend it: no, unless you’re stuck.

Place was very out dated, receptionist was very nice and friendly, perfect location, problem with room was it was very cold, bedsheets were very dirty which is a disgrace

The Ashley hotel gets a 5 star rating from me. A cosy, traditional hotel, great location in the city centre, reasonable prices, and with staff who are so welcoming and helpful.

We booked this hotel for its location and safe parking for motorbikes. Easy to find and in a great location, small safe car park for bikes and cars and no extra charge. Super friendly helpful staff, room perfect for 2 guys with free tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and TV. Receotion rang room to see if everything was okay, it was really warm and asked if a fan was available. Brought fan to room within minutes, couldn't ask for more. Really helpful. No complaints from me and highly recommended for a couple.

A stay at this hotel in Cork was included with our bus tour. It was a lovely hotel built in 1840. Our expectations were low we admit, so we were all very pleasantly surprised by the larger beds in the single rooms. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were all upgraded and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel!
