Legazpi Doce Rooms

The Legazpi Doce was a great choice for San Sebastian. This 3 star hotel is perfectly located for visiting all of the great sights of the city. Old town with its pintxos bars and the lovely beaches are within easy walking distance. The staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful with tips on what to do or where to eat. The room was clean and neat with a great bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel.

On our European vacation, this was our top three hotel. Tons of space, two rooms, kitchenette and washer/dryer. It is more of an apartment without having to go through the hassle of getting an Air B/B. It was minutes from the main activities, three blocks from the beach as well. This is a wonderful town and the hotel was well situated to easily walk to most everything you want to see. The elevators are small, but that is the only detraction. There is a nice little cafe for breakfast on the corner, in the same building of the hotel. We came in via Hendayi, and at that train station there were not many taxis so we had to walk about a mile to the hotel as there are no ubers in town. Additionally, the staff were friendly, gave us tips for exploring the city and reserved taxi's at our request.

A VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE,and MODERN corner apartment with 3 A/C units ( we only needed one), all amenities including washer & dryer, in a terrific location, and an extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. We stayed 4 nights. We can't say enough about Lagazpi Suites. A very convenient apartment to visit San Sebastian-Donostia, walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. Parking is 1 block (2 minutes) away in a secured underground location. Downstairs is a coffee shop (like a Starbucks) and they gave us vouchers for continental breakfast. One day we drove to San Jean de Luz, France ( about 30 minutes)spent day day, and had a wonderful time (highly recommend it). My first trip to San Sebastian, and look forward to returning and staying at Legazpi Suites.

We stayed in the 4br/ 3 bath unit with daughter son-in-law and grandkids. We had plenty of space the rooms were comfortable . The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The location is perfect close to everything including bakery, restaurants and easy walk to the beach. We had a combination washer/ dryer but were never able to dry clothes in it We ended up using a laundry service recommended by the staff and they were great …a fairly large load for $20.

We spent 3 days in San Sebastian in May at this place which is on the first floor of a residential building. (there have only a handful of suites to rent). The best part is the location which is practically across the street from Old Town. You are literally a few minutes walk from everything worth seeing or doing in SS especially the amazing pintxos restaurants in Old Town. Around you the main shopping areas including some high end stores, beautiful plazas and the beach. The have full time person at the entrance and they are very willing to help with questions and recommendations. Our Queen bedroom was small (especially by US standards) and 2 people will have a hard time maneuvering around each other however, the bathroom (also tiny) was ultra modern and everything worked perfectly. The AC is right over the bed so you will need to direct the vents so it does not blow directly on your head. Though we hardly needed it in May, it does feel very strong and should not have a problem in the height of Summer. The worse part of this hotel is the noise. Being on the first floor you will hear everyone and everything well into the night and that includes the many scooters that zoom by. Also this hotel had the unfortunate luck of having the city's garbage and recycling bins located right in front of the entrance. Other than the eyesore and smell, the noise of people emptying their glass recyclables is deafening and early morning on Thursdays I believe the city come to empty the bins and it sounds like an earthquake. Overall, the location of this hotel is the reason to book it and enjoy this amazing city.

We had a four night stay in this wonderful little hotel.. everything was just perfect. Superb location overlooking a pleasant park and just a stones throw from the old town and the fabulous pintxos bars. The room was slightly on the small side but perfectly adequate for our stay. Beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Reception staff were great, very helpful and very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting wonderful San Sebastian.

Lovely stay at the hotel Legazpi Doce. Firstly the hotel is centrally located near the old town but it is really easy to walk from the hotel, around the whole of San Sebastián too. Our room on the first floor was quite small however it ticked all our requirements so this was not an issue. The room was clean & the bathroom had a great shower. The staff at the hotel were all extremely helpful. Also given great recommendations for restaurants & Pintxo bars. Easy ten minute walk to hotel from bus terminal.

I stayed at this hotel Sept 26-28, 2022. The staff is very friendly and helpful they also have maps available to help find places to eat or sites to see. The room was very clean and spacious. Compared to another hotel I stayed at last year in the same area, Legazpi was much nicer and quieter too. There is also a nice cafe on the corner barely a 1 min walk away facing a beautiful park. The hotel is very close to the pintxo bars in the historic center (maybe a 5min walk if that...) but far enough away to not hear the noise there at night. When I return to San Sebastian I will select Legazpi as my hotel again!

Nice, quiet, excellently located hotel. Near beach, restaurants and shops. Small supermarket nearby. All reception staff are amazing and in particular Sandra who was so helpful. Rooms and shower very clean and would highly recommend staying here.
