I left my shades in the hotel and was able to talk to the desk staff and guaranteed to assist me to have it courier back to Manila. However, after several follow ups no one is willing to talk and no one is assisting!!!! Your lost and find sucks big time.

The hotel has a great location with many restaurants and convenience stores downstairs, and it's also within walking distance of the pier. The front desk staff are helpful, and the group tour price through the hotel is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The hotel is reasonably priced, and the service is quite good. There weren't enough power outlets in the room, but they quickly provided an extension cord. Coffee is available at the front desk; the hotel isn't large, but the environment is decent.

Quite simple room, noisy window air conditioner, foam mattress, paid hair dryer, late night bar next door, contribute to the price

Stayed here from May 12–15, 2026 for a business trip, and overall the location was very convenient. It’s close to almost everything essential — pharmacies, grocery stores, plenty of food options, and even the local government offices. Before arriving, I was warned that the area could get noisy because of the nearby bars, so I requested a room farther from them. While there was still some noise, it was only noticeable until around 10 PM, which was manageable and not too disruptive. The staff were nice, courteous, and always willing to help. At night, there is a guard on duty who can assist with basic concerns and requests. During check-out, however, there was initially no front office staff available, only to find out later that the receptionist was managing both this accommodation and the one next door. The room itself was generally clean, although there were visible signs of aging such as dirt splatters on the walls, slightly worn tiles, and an older-looking bathroom. The towels are also due for replacement soon, if not already. On the positive side, water pressure was good, the WiFi was acceptable, and the cable TV worked fine. For the price, I found the stay to be very reasonable and good value for money. Since I was out most of the day, it served well as a comfortable place to rest and sleep. I would recommend this place if your priority is staying within town and having easy access to establishments and services. However, if you’re looking for direct beach access or a more resort-style experience, you may want to consider other options.

I would normally only give five stars to exceptional accommodation, but given that my wife and I were stranded here for five nights, including during one of the most devastating typhoons in history, Haiyan/Yolanda, which passed directly over Coron and we were looked after so well in these comfortable and affordable rooms, I don’t think it would be fair to rate Ecolodge lower…. The lodge is only about a year old and is a simple and elegant design. It withstood the typhoon’s fury with only minor damage to the roof due to falling trees on two sides. The large glass windows and doors which provided a pleasant ambience remained intact. The tree damage led to some minor flooding which the staff quickly attacked and all but two rooms were fine the morning after. Fortunately, the hotel generator continued to function and life resumed a certainly normality. We were also fortunate that a senior employee of Globe Telecommunications was staying with us as the rival Smart network was down after the typhoon and she kindly provided a Wi-Fi service, which attracted many tourists to our hotel. Although we had been previously advised to buy Smart sim cards, our experience overall, favoured Globe in Palawan. The staff of Ecolodge were very pleasant and helpful during our stay at Ecolodge and did their best to make our stay enjoyable under trying circumstances. Breakfast and hot snacks were available but were simple affairs, OK but we preferred to eat elsewhere for the most part. Overall Ecolodge is excellent value for money for the price. It is a convenient short walk from the town centre and the boats and has shown it can withstand a super typhoon!

This place is called an eco Lodge for a reason. Economic on housekeeping, there is none. They don't even provide a brush so that you can clean your own room. No drinking water in the rooms. There is never enough cups at breakfast. You have to wait for other guests to finish so that they can wash them up. Breakfast starts at 6am, but if you arrive at 6am the staff complain in Tagalog thinking that you won't understand. If you go 15 mins later, food is running out. When our breakfast order eventually got taken, we had to wait for an hour for it to arrive. They best thing about our stay here is that we are checking out today.

1. I passed an inquiry about the transportation twice, no replies. 2. no closet/shelf, no chair, no cup/glass in the room. 3. the tile floor and the stool may not been polished up for many months at least; dirty. 4. terribly noisy air-conditioner ( the maker KOLIN ), stopped to sleep.

Location is Ok since near dining outlets but it gets noisy at night. Facility is old but functional except for the wifi. Food is OK for both quality and quantity. Staff at the restaurant and the front desk are cold and distant but there are a few who try.

Let me start with the staff with very impersonal service- very mechanical and lack the warmth expected of hospitality industry workers. The rooms are also near the bars and it is noisy up until midnight. Food is OK and room is OK.
