Cortland Motel

It's a very nice motel that takes you back a few years in time. Smaller than a Motel 6 room but very comfortable. Very nice people to work with. They cleaned the room and made the bed every day. We would stay there again.

I never have an issue here and have stayed 3 times. It’s reasonable and safe and convenient. I like the family that owns it. I will always come here and referred other nurses to stay here also.

Room was very hot but looked ok till got in shower top part want clean hair on shower walls that was not ours.

The motel is old and a classic motel (drive up to the door, bathroom at back of room). Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, easy to access. Heat was a floor heater unit, bathroom was small and rather cramped. Decent value for a one or two night stay.

Rooms are older but nice. Mine was huge with a large bathroom. Nice hot water and very warm in room. I slept so good and it was quiet. Close to 81 and all major roads (11/13), shopping, and there’s a restaurant and bar next door. Very nice family too. Lots of room to park and not many people were there so it was super quiet for me.

We stayed for one night and it was great. Classic old motel. Comfortable rooms, very sweet owners, plus a great price!

It's definitely like the good reviews say; it's basic yet comfortable, clean rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff. I also agree the tub/tile/curtain could use a mild improvement, but I bought a bottle of Comet with bleach from the dollar store and with a few squirts, the orange runoff at the bottom of the curtain disappeared and the shower head gleamed. It's a great lil place to get a quiet, peaceful night's sleep without distraction. I stayed for a week for business and would stay again if the need arose. One recommendation is that you bring your own toiletries because the little foil packets of 2-in1 shampoo/conditioner didn't cut it but again, grabbed what I need from the dollar store for the week. You can't beat the value so long as you're not looking for fancy. The fridge and microwave were perfect and the desk was spacious, affording me the room to get paperwork done at night. All-in-all, I have no complaints.

It's everything good I read. The rooms are pretty basic and overall, quaint, quiet, and clean with a comfy bed. Sweet family that runs the place; always available at the desk anytime at all. I also agree with the comments regarding the shower curtain and dated rooms, but I wasn't here for glitz and glam. I stayed for a clean place to shower, eat, and sleep while away for work and this place checked every box. I bought a bottle of Comet with bleach at Dollar Tree with a scrubber and cleaned the shower head easily. I sprayed the bottom of the shower curtain with it, & in five min, the shower curtain lost the orange build up at the bottom, and the shower head gleamed. Everything else was fine. Housekeeping comes everyday, unlike the big chains that make you request the service. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have no complaints. The fridge, coffee pot, and microwave were perfect and the desk was convenient and spacious for me to do paperwork at the end of the day. Just bring your own toiletries because that's one area lacking. Shampoo/Conditioner combo in tiny, tear-off foil packets didn't cut it, but Dollar Tree provided the few detail items this place was lacking. I would stay again.

Had all that we needed for an overnight stay, think someone had been smoking in our room previously but that was just thoughtlessness on their part, plenty of signs not to and we were also told not to at checkin 🙂
