Tribe Paris la Defense Esplanade

My family and I were really happy about the service of this place. The rooms could be a little bigger as they felt a little too small and cramped. They get top ratings though as every room has a steamer…we don’t find that often. Would definitely come back here.

This was a very pleasant stay Apart from the weird smell in the room hallways. Breakfast was decent. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Staff are very friends. Hotel is in a nice quiet area and only a 5 minute walk to metro station.

The staff is slow to respond and the cleaning is poorly done. I had to make several requests to have my room cleaned well. The on-duty manager on Monday when I checked out refused to reimburse me for the pre-paid breakfasts I never used and also refused to let me have coffee there as a credit. This hotel was convenient for me for this stay but I would not recommend it.

The rooms are small , They put mineral water in the room only on the first day and do not charge it on other days , The breakfast items are few and after they are finished on the counter, it takes a long time to charge, But on the other hand, you can enjoy Nespresso coffee and tea in the room, and they will charge you for free every day of your stay. So room and other public places in hotel is very clean.

Just returned from a weekend break in Paris, we chose this location based on cost and easy access to the Longchamp race course. First the positives, the area felt very safe and it was easy to walk (3 miles to the arc de triomphe) or get an Uber within minutes. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was of good quality. Sadly the overall feeling though is that the guests are a bother to the staff, the staff working over breakfast lack any interest in guests and one individual was damn right rude on a couple of occasions. When I asked if I needed to show my room number or be ticked off a list at breakfast I had ‘what?!’ barked at me then ‘no’ snapped with an eye roll. As all vacant tables were still stacked with dirty plates/cups and food crumbs i again politely asked the same man if a table could be cleared to which he simply glared and ignored me. On other occasions when getting a drink and at checkout there was a lot of waiting at the desk before a staff member approached. Staff who work the evening shift were much more polite & welcoming. Bar prices are steep, you expect to pay a premium in a big city but they really are something else. €4.50 for a can of coke to takeaway, then €65 for a small bottle of water, 2 baileys and a rum & coke. We paid significantly less for drinks in several bistros right in the centre of the city so felt like we were being ripped off here. Lastly we’re covered in bites, 3 out of 4 of us staying, 2 in particular have had our ankles and calf’s ravaged by something. Not pleasant.

They made me feel extremely bad for myself I guess because I m not rich enough for them. We asked them if I can take my dinner to the balcony. Initially they said no but then changed it to yes but you have to come down to take it on the balcony on your own. After dinner we ordered coctails and they told me that I have to go to the bar cause it was 11 o clock and they had to close the balcony. I obeyed and after we finished our coctails at 12 o clock they were still people on the balcony. This made me feel humiliated.

I have had a great stay and the hotel, the service was EXCELLENT. When arrived the Team has left a little welcome note for me, very cute thanks again! Loved everything about the hotel. Just a bit difficult to find.

We brought a student tour group to this hotel for three nights. It was perfect. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The lobby was well appointed with a bar and small restaurant. Breakfast was served daily and we were very pleased with the selections. It wan be hard to get someone to acknowledge you when asking the desk for anything. That would be my only complaint.
