Not very clean, mixed blankets, dirty mattress

We travelled with our teenage daughter and loved the chalets at Amaroo. We were in the new blue detached chalets and they were immaculate and well fitted out. Teenage daughter loved her double bed and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a delight, as was the kitchen. Nice wicker chairs on verandah - no plastic rubbish. Pool area lovely to sit and read at. Staff were super helpful. Coles 2 min walk away. Lovely cafes and restaurants 5 mins walk away on the main street of Cowes. Recommend Bannis and Isola di Capri.

We stayed at Amaroo for 3 nights in a tent. The site we chose was shady and relatively private, close to all amenities. The camp kitchen and amenities were very clean, plenty of hot water for showers and laundry had all that was needed, including lines with pegs provided. Very easy walk into town and the jetty and a great little cafe attached. Sites are a little on the small side but overall a great little park. Would highly recommend.

This more than a caravan park. My wife and were looking for holiday accomodation for our stay at Phillip Island Victoria. We booked a Studio cabin. Very comfortable with ensuite, kitchenette and porch. Good sized bed and not soft The staff are friendly and nothing is any trouble. Close to shops. Highly recommend.

Amaroo Park staff are friendly. Cabins were spotless. Bed extremely comfortable. Linen spotless and sheets exceptional fresh and new. Everything you need is in the cabin and functional. Pool was spotless and well maintained. The grounds are well maintained and clean. Close to main street and within walking distance to supermarkets. Having the lovely café next door is a bonus. There's so many things to do at Phillip Island. We are looking forward to our next trip back to Amaroo Park

Perfect central accommodation in every way to explore Cowes & surrounds. Friendly hosts. Accommodation was faultless. Cabins & house were super clean, well appointed, world class bedding & bed. I can genuinely not wait to go back.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at this fabulous caravan park! We travelled with our small dog, and the cabin we hired was perfect for two adults & our dog bed.. The staff at Amaroo were very friendly & helpful... Very cheerful whenever you saw any of them, at all times. Very clean pool & surrounds too. Great location.. So close to the main street in Cowes. We had lunch in the adjoining restaurant, which was lovely & plentiful. All in all, a lovely trip & we'll definitely return.

Reception did not listen to our request that we be able to park our 7 metre van next to a cabin. Took the money straight away after saying we could park and then said they would show us where to park - away from the cabin. Offered an upgrade to a deluxe cabin. 2 bedroom but rooms were small. Toilet you could hardly get in the door. No oven. Gas cooktop only went to a medium flame so our pork fillets were stewed - not browned. No bowls to use for cooking in the microwave. No egg slice - just plastic tongs and serving spoons. Couch was really uncomfortable - we put the extra cushions on top and still sunk to the bottom. Price outrageous - we took a stay 2 pay for 2 but still very expensive

Position, position,the park is right in the middle of town and is very well maintained The grassy sites are good for medium to large vans and backing in is easy with guidance from the pleasant manager We are looking forward to returning

Warm and welcoming environment friendly and helpful staff clean and tidy room. Everything closed by east walking distance. Very happy with everything. The owner was very helpful suggesting attractions that we can do and go to. Thank you Amaroo park

Just needed a place to stay for a night when visiting Phillip's Island. Very clean, good value, and perfectly located right next to (but a quiet block away from) the main street with restaurant and shops. Bonus: a really nice restaurant for breakfast next door with a veranda and great food. After booking, they send you an email with instruction for how to get a key using codes from a machine. That would be ok, yet sounded a little impersonal. But when I got there, two helpful and cheerful women checked me in and gave me advice. I thought I lost my key (yes, smart move) while viewing the penguin parade, and one of the women at the desk was onsite after a phone call to let me in at 10:00p. She had every right to be a grump; instead, she was pleasant and understanding. Much appreciated.

Amaroo Park is well run and very clean. We felt at home and had everything we needed. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The park is also in a great spot close to the restaurants, shops and beach.

I took my 3 grandchildren ( 19, 8 and 6) for a 3 night stay . I’m from the U.K. so wasn’t sure what to expect . It’s a very compact site with good amenities such as laundry etc . The automatic check in was a bit confusing and we needed help . We got the last chalet available , which was an older model with two bedrooms but was well equipped and very clean . The outdoor pool gets very busy , as you would expect but had a large canopy over 1/2 the pool which was essential on hot sunny days . The park is about 5-10 minutes from the beach & very close to supermarkets and shops . The outdoor veranda was a welcome addition and gave us more usable space

Our accomodation was clean and comfortable. Comfy bed and nice little verandah to sit on in the mornings with a cuppa. The owner of the park is very friendly and has great local advice on where to eat and what to see. Would definitely stay here again if we returned!
