We LOVED this resort but want to give a special shoutout to Guadalupe (our house keeper for the week) and Diego (bartender at the manatee bar) they both went above and beyond to make out stay extra special!
There was one thing that didn’t meet expectations, and that was our birthday banner's and cake. We were told they would be on our door on each of our birthdays (14th & 18th) and they weren’t. We offered to pay for those services at check in but were told that wasn’t necessary. To be fair, that was the ONLY negative thing about our stay.
Bordeaux, the French restaurant, was delicious! Marco served us both nights and he remembered our allergies, names and just made everything perfect!!
The service at this resort was 100/10!
We will be back!!

Honestly this is the first time we visit Cozumel to celebrate my birthday. But this is not our first time staying in all inclusive resort. We have been to Cancun and los Cabo’, and we felt the room needs maintenance and repair. Food is not very good. Overall, we can’t give a high rating for this resort!

No hot water in room, skidmarks on sheets from no telling who and sheets were never changed, food is average at best, bartender at swim up bar wouldnt make the drink that was requested even when he had every ingredient, we paid $3600 for preferred option and there was nothing different from the regular options.

Black mold in rooms and buildings, cold showers and no hot water, I got food poisoning there, no towels at the beach or pools, food was poor, rooms were dirty and bedsheets , very outdated. This was very disappointing .

We were here 7 years ago and had a fantastic experience. This time the employees did not seem as happy, many things were in disrepair. Printed schedules and online schedules were not the same, some restaurants were closed when they were listed as open and vice versa. House keeping was inconsistent. This visit there was a big push to become a member and attend a 90 minute sales pitch. We had to avoid the concierge area to not be “harassed. Don’t get me wrong it was still a wonderful trip, just overall not as great as before. Apparently they were recently bought up by Hyatt, so perhaps these are the changes.
Also the food was not as good this time and seemed to be almost the same at each restaurant except for Bordeaux which was exceptional! The entertainment team did a wonderful job.
We will go back for a third visit. Many people we met there had also been there many times and talked of the same things I mentioned here. Overall a wonderful trip to the best snorkeling destination.

I've stayed at various all-inclusive resorts in Cozumel; first time at Secrets Aura, which was a total disappointment.
The hotel is old and tired and the room was a joke - nothing worked, TV, AC, phone.
Front desk staff and management not helpful at all.
Not good value for money at all, much other better options in Cozumel
