Barocchetto Romano

Wow 🫶💫 Just spend 2 days at this Bella B@B. The place is so romantic and idyllic and and it is located perfect. The Beach is very nice for swimming and relaxing and the small city is so cute with very good restaurants and a super nice market on Wednesdays. Perla and Riccardo (the owners) are such nice and warm people. I would give the place and them my highest recommendations and I would love to come back. / Jane (Copenhagen, DK)

Very nice and amiable host, clean and spacious room, what else can one ask for ? The host put an extra bed for us, even though we arrived late in the evening. Everything worked as expected, the host even ordered a taxi for us for an early appointment. Thank you!

Fantastic stay. Beautifully located in the center of Ostia and close to the train station for our daily 30 min trip to center of Rome. Rooms are spacious and clean, just like at home! Breakfast was a delight and we just really felt welcomed! Definitely coming back! Thank you Ricardo and Perla!

When we first opened the door, the stairs were daunting but after getting our heavy bags up to the room level, all was good, very good. Our room was a quite comfortable and our bathroom, while private was down the hall. Breakfast was wonderful and is seven indoors when chilly and outdoors when warm. There is a large purpose living space overlooking a pedestrian area. The recreations and shops all around. You are one block from the water and the beach. A great place to stay and close to FCO.

Great hospitality & communication!!! Parking is wild, as all of Rome. Cute little room, comfortable bed and private bath. Hot water supply goes fast; only criticism.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barocchetto Romano. The room was very nice and romantic and had a good bed and good pillows. The terrace has nice seats where you can enjoy the sun and shade throughout the day. The surrounding streets have many good restaurants. The B&B is at walking distance from the beach. Perla and Riccardo are very nice hosts and they make sure you have a pleasant stay.

Very convenient location close to the airport, shopping and dining area. The view from the terrace is amazing. Thanks for authentic experience and coffee, Riccardo. Definitely will stay again

We stayed at the Barocchetto Romano after our cruise, and before going to the airport for a flight back home. This was a perfect place to close off our vacation. First, the location is wonderful. Moments from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and shopping, all in a pedestrian area (so no cars passing by our building!). Our hosts were charming, and very accommodating. We arrived early, and they were kind enough to let us drop off our bags so we could explore the neighbourhood – this may not always be an option, but ask, they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The unit itself is reached by stairs. They have a secure door at the bottom of the stairs, as well as one at the top – we appreciated this sense of security, although the neighbourhood is so nice I don’t see any need for concern. Once through the door at the top of the stairs you come to a marvelous terrace, with lots of seating, and even an ocean view. When we weren’t out exploring, or sleeping, we spent much of our time up there with a glass of wine, and meeting some wonderful guests staying in another room. There is a well equipped kitchen, with lots of treats available (nominal cost). They had a great coffee machine, and served a fantastic breakfast. The décor is very charming, and you feel at home rather than feeling you are in a hotel. I would not hesitate to stay again; fantastic hosts, excellent location near the beach and the airport, and perfect place to just unwind. Highly recommended A

I liked the property and the staff. Perla was very helpful and gave good suggestions. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping area right there. The only problem I had was with the bathroom that was outside of the room and we had to cross the living room to get access. The description said we had a "private bathroom " which I thought was joined with our bedroom. But we were the only one using it and we had a key and it was cleaned and supplied with fresh towels every day, so we managed.
