It is the first cruise with available swimming pool. All cabins have available private balcony with ocean view. The itineraries are exclusive and different to all cruises with unique and original Lan Ha Bay where is not too crowed.
"Excellent quality of food, 4 meals a day, comfortable rooms, caring staff (special thanks to Ashley for the boat tour). They upgraded the room!
Not very comfortable pillows.
Important: if you come to the pier in your own car, keep in mind that the locals may ask you for an unreasonable fee, and the parking is not marked, in general, the entire peninsula with piers is an abandoned wasteland with unfinished houses in which the locals park their bikes and engage in trade. They asked us for 200 thousand dong per day, when we returned from the cruise, they blocked the road with bikes, we argued for 20 minutes and in the end did not pay.
But this has nothing to do with the cruise, everyone was nice, the team is great, the food is delicious, the schedule of activities on the boat is quite leisurely, we rested for a day!!!"

TTraveller1001We had a wonderful trip with Capella Cruise from start to finish! Organised pick up and drop off from our hotel in old quarter via email before arriving (easy process) and drivers were great! Got to the port and got welcome drinks, then our cruise manager (Tom ”cruise” manager) gave us our keys and explained everything we needed to know for our stay plus our itinerary for the day on the tender boat as we made our way to the cruise! He was a wonderful manager the whole trip! our room was beautiful with ”corner” views of the bay and our own terrace balcony! we only stayed for one night and we think that's enough - we had buffet lunch after we arrived, and then it was time for water activities (pool, water slide, or kayaking), after relaxing abit it was time to enjoy the sunset with happy hour! the views from the top deck were amazing! we went to the spring roll cooking class before dinner and it was lots of fun! dinner time was set dinner - this was perhaps the only thing we thought could be different - dinner was western style, would have been better if it was Vietnamese cuisine! after dinner there were a number of activities you can do - we tried squid fishing (gave up quickly haha) then a group of us that all just met at the pool went to play poker - that was a lot of fun with the crew ******! next morning was an early start to visit the darken caves, sad we didn't get to see the monkeys, after that it was time for buffet lunch before going back to the port! all the crew were so nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay at the cruise! We would recommend just one night stay, second day would have been abit boring with repetitive things to do/eat!

GGuest UserSuperb experience from check-in to check-out. Outstanding service by Bryan and team onboard - they were attentive, helpful and fun! Food onboard was great with good buffet spread and delicious 6-course dinner! On the boat, room is tastefully decorated (enjoyed the balcony and bath tub!) and there is much space to chill and hangout.
Excellent itinerary providing excellent view of and immersion in Halong Bay. Timing of activities was good and not that crowded making them enjoyable and unhurried.

UUma17My husband and I got a cabin upgrade - this surprise was very pleasant for us and set the tone for the whole cruise. The ship may not be the newest, but everything inside is comfortable, beautiful and clean. We liked the schedule of activities (we tried to participate in everything), the food and drinks, the size of the ship, all the staff were very helpful, friendly and overall pleasant. Very beautiful views from the windows and from the upper deck. We would happily spend more days there or go on a cruise with V’Spirit again.

The bus went to the wrong hotel first that day, but someone could follow up within ten minutes. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the boat. The dining also surprised me. I recommend this cruise accommodation.

HhamzyannIf you travel to Vietnam, taking a Cruise to Halong Bay should be in your TO DO list. It’ll make your trip remarkable and special. We chose 2 days / 1 night trip to this amazing place with Peony Cruises. It was All Inclusive with 4 times food (lunch, dinner, breakfast, brunch).
The staff was very kind and attentive. They even changed some of the foods for dinner, bcoz we didn’t eat seafood. That was so sweet from their side. Indeed, the food was appetizing.
We went kayaking, enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets and admired the stunning views. Then we visited Trung Trang Cave which was so astonishing.

FFranscios MichaelOur cruise was very lovely and the staff especially our tour manager Harry was exceptional. The food on the boat was very high quality especially the set menu for dinner. The views were amazing and the expeditions were lots of fun. I do have these concerns - on trip.com it states drinks and snacks are included on the cruise, this is misleading. This refers to one mocktail 250ml drink, and a bit of potato chips. Do not expect free drinks like water or soda or even just coolaid to be free to drink - you have to pay for everything. There is filtered water that you have to refill yourself at the back of the boat but this was a bit dodgy if you ask me. Breakfast and lunch was also good - not extravagant but hearty. There are also some hidden costs here and there where you have to pay extra for this tour or extra for that, which I whish was just all inclusive because I don't want to be bothered by paying for more things when on a trip.

It’s quite boring on board due to lack of facilities.
Consider placing some board games., pool table or gaming machines.

There is nothing else onboard other than the dinning hall.
Coffee and tea, water are extra payable during meal times. Come on… at least have the decency to give free. For alcohol and soft drinks we understand it’s chargeable.
Come to the 2nd day we were ushered into another day vessel while the main vessel had to go back to drop off and pick up passengers whom booked 2D1N packages and we see new faces when we returned to the main vessel Venus.
Food wise, it was plentiful but not tasty, quality was mediocre. The lamb chuck we had on 1st day was like rubber.
Overall would not do this again as this is just a tourist mechanic machine.
2D1N or day trip would be more suitable.

GGuest UserI was quite disappointed with my recent cruise experience. The food was mediocre and didn’t live up to the standard I expected. The service overall was lacking—staff weren’t particularly attentive or professional. I also booked a massage onboard, which was extremely underwhelming. While the price was not cheap, the technique and overall experience didn’t come close to what I’m used to from professional services elsewhere, especially in Hanoi. It felt more like a checkbox service than a genuine effort to help guests relax. To make matters worse, the staff member who took us to Ti Top Island handled our concerns poorly and did not respond in a professional manner. Overall, this cruise failed to deliver on multiple fronts.

BbabyjobeThe boat looked great on the outside, but in fact was quite deteriorated on the inside, especially for the room. The jacuzzi bath tub has obvious stains, where my parents' toilet cover was not fully intact. The actual rooms that we received were far worsen than the advertised photos we expressed to see.
Having said that, the crew did an amazing job in serving from embarking to disembarking. The crew manager was well talented, from tour guiding to cooking class teacher and tai chi master.... He was so hard working! In terms of food, we were served tons of dishes until we could not take it any further. Food quality wasn't as great as we anticipated, but it was still above average.
We now strongly suggest that the cruise owner needs to renovate the entire ship of aqua elegance.
