Reviews of Mercure Townsville

Located near 2 lakes, a great poolside resort with palm trees and other tropical flora. Breakfast was buffee-style, with options of bread, pastries, automated pancake machine, warm foods (eggs, bacon, mushrooms, beans, hash browns etc), fruits & machine coffee (or barista coffee for an extra fee). The room itself was nice, with a big writing desk & comfy bed, but the bathroom has a very weird layout. Shower has separate knobs for hot and cold water and if you prefer less pressure, it will drip to the drawer right below the showerhead. The bathroom door also opens inside and behind that is the towel rack & toilet bowl so for if you want to take the towel while the door is open, you have to close the door first.

Business trip, not too bad, for next business trip, i will visit again

A basic but comfortable hotel. The reason I chose this was the EV charging station in the guest car park. Team were friendly.

Quiet, peaceful and clean. Close to shops and food. Receptionist was lovely. Annoyingly, needed to talk to front desk and there wasn't a phone in the room so need to walk tonthe front desk to talk to them about an issue we had.

A comfortable and beautiful motel, clean and good size rooms , friendly staff

Stayed after our flight got cancelled, and the hotel helpfully checked us in late at night when we were in a pinch. Basic rooms but fine for one night.
