Since it was winter, the bathroom was a little cold and it was hard to tell if the room heating was on. The room was clean and comfortable. There was also a luggage storage service.

A hotel with extremely low value for money, and be prepared to be ripped off! Even after paying a high price! ! ! The location of the hotel is not good. I didn't want to pay more for a taxi to drive to the hotel entrance. It parked in a small square in front. It would be exhausting to drag my suitcase to the hotel. Then I have to climb uphill every day to go to the Plaza de Armas. Even if I pay extra for this kind of hotel, it is more expensive than the hotel next to the Plaza de Armas! What a big injustice. Unlucky luck decided to book this hotel. The quoted one-day tour fee is twice that of other places! Exaggeration, there is no business in catching a desperate extortionist! The wifi stopped working at around 7pm, the hot water was gone, and the radiator just made a sound and didn't work! The wifi was turned off at 10 o'clock in the morning, and the old lady cleaning the house came knocking on the door and urging us to go out because she wanted to do some cleaning! The trip to Cusco with a bad experience started from this hotel, and then from the staff of this hotel I saw the local people’s methods of making money that are still stuck in the last century👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Wonderful location and atmosphere! very cozy and reliable. The staff provide excellent service and are sweet. Cant wait to go back one day. Good value and quaint!

We had a wonderful stay at Illa Hotel in Cusco! The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were very clean, with daily housekeeping and thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable. There was heating in the room, which was much appreciated during the chilly Cusco nights. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, both in the hotel and the surrounding area. The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk to Plaza San Blas and about 10 minutes to Plaza de Armas. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city. Highly recommend Illa Hotel for anyone looking for a clean, safe, and well-located place to stay in Cusco!

This family run boutique hotel off San Blas plaza is a mixture of first rate service and bed and breakfast. The staff are very helpful and willing to arrange transportation throughout the city. Even when you've wondered in the wrong direction and need some one to pick you up. Along with their daily continental breakfast, for all those early morning tours they offer packed breakfast. Located in the San Blas neighborhood, this a beautiful area with many galleries and shops just off the main tourists area with the San Blas market a short walk away. A few blocks the other direction is the Cathedral de Cusco and main square. There are many great shops and places to eat near by such as Nuna Ramyi, Chia, Pachapapa and Chakruna. Know that this hotel along with others in the area are located in the historical district with limited vehicle access so plan pick ups and tours accordingly. The hotel staff was especially helpful with this, so let them arrange pick up and drop off to the hotel as mostly only cars can access the street. Because of this I highly recommend hotel transfer be arranged through the hotel. If on arrival your driver isn't there to pick you up, contact the hotel and they will take care of you.

Such a shame that the only minus for this hotel is the poor internet in the rooms. Everything the rooms inside was new and renovated. Location is just amazing near the San Blas, with lot of restaurants and a few blocks away from Plaza del Armas. I will return but hope that they fix the internet issue with better routers.

They were very kind, they stored my luggage for free, free coffee and tea, good availability, very affordable and reliable tours, and very good value for money, We left early to do tours and we had not informed us about the breakfast box but Rodrigo helped us without prior notice. The girls also helped me with the information, an unforgettable experience I would stay here again

The hotel is located three blocks from the main square and halfway down a street full of typical Cusco shops. We stayed three nights with a 9-year-old child. The room was super comfortable on the first floor. There is hot water and coca tea, among other things, to help you cope with the altitude. The hotel staff will advise you on this. The breakfast was good, it didn't vary much from one day to the next, but it was complete. It's a great hotel to spend a few days in Cusco.

Very good place. Exceptional service from Maria Luísa, who did everything possible to make our stay more pleasant. The hotel is located three blocks above the cathedral, and there is a climb that is not that big, but at such a high altitude it is quite a burden. Good breakfast.

Excellent location in the center of Cusco in the San Blas neighborhood, near the hotel is the beauty of Cusco. As for the room, it was very nice and cozy, friendly staff at the reception. They have coffee and tea available all the time in the main hallway and reception. You can leave your luggage if you go on a tour for several days. I recommend it.

We had two experiences with the Illa Hotel, both very different, but we would like to highlight the hotel's attention and kindness in resolving any issues that arose. Upon arrival in Cusco, we selected a superior double room which, although it was as advertised (large bed, minibar, safe, heater, etc.), was a bit disappointing because it was cramped, poorly lit and had a window facing the courtyard, where guests usually wait. The heater didn't work on the first day, but it was quickly fixed when we notified reception the next day. We also had no water for a few hours (this can happen in the city), but the staff did their best to make up for the inconvenience. We checked out and left our bags in storage to go to Machu Picchu. Upon returning to Cusco, we requested to be changed to a double room because we had booked a double room without realizing it. We were greeted with a sweet message and treats such as local chocolate. This room with a comfortable double bed, very spacious and a beautiful view of the city, we really liked and we were very comfortable. On both stays, we highlighted the showers with good pressure and very hot water, the very clean rooms and hotel, the excellent service from the staff, and the good, varied and fresh breakfast. The location is very good, with good restaurants, shops, services and points of interest just a few steps away. It is very close to the Plaza de Armas, but there is a short and steep climb to get to the hotel street (it didn't bother us and helped us get used to the walks). Vans and larger cars do not access these narrow streets (common in historic centers). The service is the hotel's highlight, we believe that it is possible to improve the facilities to make the experience perfect, but, overall, we were satisfied and happy with the choice.

Die Zimmer hatten eine gute Grösse, das Bad war sauber und die Betten in Ordnung, was die Bequemlichkeit angeht. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich, und die Lage ist einfach top. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Súper amables, habitación impecable, amplia . Sabanas y toallas perfectas. El hotel del estilo del lugar grande, con escaleras. Muy buen gusto. Nos guardaron el equipaje unas horas luego del check out. Nos facilitaron el taxi hasta el aeropuerto.
