We enjoyed a 4 day stay in GIC hotel and it was one of the best hotels we were! Breakfast was amazing, the staff was super friendly and polite and everyone speaks English! Huuuge thanks to the special attention we received from Chris, front office manager!! He treated us with special attention and gave us tips for trips, what to visit in Da Nang etc. he also speaks English perfectly. Thank you, i would love to return back here and stay here again ;)

We are so happy with this hotel. It is one of the cheapest hotels in Da Nang but they are generous in providing daily toiletries making sure we have more than enough to use.
Location wise, it is very near to the beach. There is a golf car like taxi terminal across the hotel.

First of all, the location is very close to My Khe Beach.
It's also close to the night market. There are restaurants, massages, coffee shops, etc. nearby.
It's all there, so you can walk there.
However, the swimming pool is in a different building, so you might think it doesn't exist.
You can have a simple breakfast.
The facilities are old. I saw the 2024 remodeling, but there are traces of time...
The staff was friendly and they cleaned up neatly.

Experience in this Hotel was so Amazing coz we took twin suits with ocean view…Awesome!! We literally seen sunrise everyday😍. Hotel Staffs are so friendly & helpful. Loved the breakfast, mixed with Vietnam local foods as well…yummy! We didn’t missed our 6days… I hv oni one improvement which they should implement more effectively to inform ppl who stay here abt the mini bar setup in the room which is chargeable actually. Otherwise hotel, ocean view, skybar with pool and lots of shops, restaurants,street food, spa, massage, Indian cousins, & etc is so convenient. So Happy & we had a very very pleasant experience stay here. HarpalMahi 🇻🇳🏖️❤️

This is our first trip been to Viet Nam, Da Nang. The weather looks better than the day we arrive, therefore we had time to enjoy the pool in 26th floor, it really a great view with mountains and beach view. Our room is also sea view but we suprised with the view in the infinity pool. Breakfast was perfect but when we eat there are alot of guests around :＞＞ Anyway, everything was great and you might think about this place when you have chance to go to Danang. Me and my husband were super happy

I just spent a vacation at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Da Nang. Infrastructure and location are the best characteristic of the place, very modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and they were helping my parents who are in their 70s. The gym is small but more than enough to do a complete routine. And the pool space has an impressive view to the sea.

GGuest UserFirstly, the staff at this hotel are wonderful. They are SO helpful, caring and accommodating. We appreciated their help and interactions. The hotel has a beautiful and welcoming foyer and pool area. The rooms are lovely, a great size with excellent showers and bathroom. The location is walking distance to the lovely beach and there's plenty of eating options around. I really wanted to love this accommodation but there were problems. First and foremost is the functions held that dominate the place. One took over the entire main pool with a stage covering the pool which meant guests couldn't use it for nearly two days. This left guests using the roof pool that is neglected and had no towels. There was never enough pool towels. Everyday, we had to wait while staff went looking for pool towels. The private functions are loud and if your room is near them, you then have to listen to the late night banging and talking while packing up. Breakfast is good but if you get there late, they are slow to replace items or not at all. Two mornings, I missed out on bacon, ham and croissants and had empty coffee pots. There are a lot of Asian options and beautiful fruit and the normal egg station. You won't go hungry. The beautiful Lady running the breakfast room is absolutely second to none. Her genuine interest in your comfort and day was heart warming. Overall, the staff here are 5 stars. The accommodation is 4 stars. I would definitely stay again and loved Da Nang.

1. Great location for beach and surf lovers.
2. The hotel is quite new (even a bit too new, since they haven’t even open some rooms).
3. Amazing swimming pools.
4. Very nice breakfast, and they even will make you great coffee, not from the regular coffee machine.
5. Rooms are big and spacious.

1. I’ve had a partial sea view room, and they tried to give me a room with city view 🧐. Had even to fight with them a bit for that. They fixed the mistake, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
2. There is construction behind the hotel, so the people with city view room, be aware.
3. Hotel elevators were constantly out of service.
4. They haven’t even finished some rooms in the hotel itself.
Overall 7/10. As some people before me mentioned, when they will fix the mistakes, it would be probably a nice spot. But for now, wouldn’t come back.

Got 3 family rooms for me and my friends,room has king size bed and single bed, big enough for 3 pax. Hotel staff are all pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. GGuest UserI’ve stayed in many hostels and hotels across Vietnam and around the world, but this has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Let me start with the positives: the room was spacious, but unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends.
The cleanliness was highly questionable. The sheets were stained, and I couldn’t help but doubt if they’d been washed at all. As a solo traveler, I was given a twin room, which provided the option of using two beds. However, both beds were equally dirty, leaving me with no decent option.
The bathroom, while visually appealing, was let down by the subpar toiletries. The shampoo smelled like an overpowering, generic men’s product, more suited to a budget gym locker room than a guest accommodation. A neutral scent would have been far more appropriate. Additionally, there was no hairdryer in the room—a real inconvenience if you have long hair like mine. The provided slippers were oversized, clearly designed for men, adding another layer of frustration.
While I was glad to have a TV, it was nearly unusable. The YouTube app, which was a primary reason I booked the room, wouldn’t connect, and the TV itself was slow and difficult to operate. All in all, what should have been a relaxing stay was riddled with small but cumulative annoyances.
The worst part, however, was leaving the room and heading to the dining hall. Breakfast was a major disappointment. The options were overwhelmingly carb-heavy and catered mainly to Vietnamese tastes, with dishes like rice, noodles, and curry. For a hostel that presumably caters to international guests, it’s baffling that the breakfast options were so limited and unappealing to a Western palate. The dining hall was also overcrowded, with too many guests at once, including children playing on phones at full volume—a noisy and stressful way to start the day.
Service was inconsistent and, at times, awkward. On one occasion, a staff member greeted me with “Namaste,” assuming I was Indian, which left me taken aback. Some staff were better trained than others, but the overall experience was far from smooth. For instance, I ordered sunny-side-up eggs one morning, which were available, but the next day, I was told they weren’t offered and was given overly greasy fried eggs instead. This lack of consistency and the apparent lack of training among the staff were glaring issues.
The dining hall itself was uncomfortably hot, making meals even less enjoyable. Tissue was nowhere to be found, adding to the overall discomfort.
I chose this place partly because of its location, which is conveniently close to many bars, cafés, and the beach. However, it was also advertised as soundproof, which couldn’t be further from the truth. The constant noise from other guests, particularly children playing with the doorbells and loud voices at all hours, meant I never had a peaceful night’s sleep. Being woken up between 3 to 6 am became a daily occurrence, and it left me exhausted and frustrated.
In conclusion, this hostel was far from worth the premium price. The service, quality, and overall experience fell drastically short of expectations. Here I am, still in my room with blood stained sheets, on the verge of booking another place because I simply cannot stay here any longer. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Located close to the beach within easy walking distance of the main town/ market / Dragon bridge area…… lovely hotel and very reasonably priced…. This is our second visit to Da Nang and had no hesitation booking the Fivitel Queen ….. can not fault the hotel, the cleanliness, the staff throughout from reception, waiting staff, porters, housekeeping….. will be back again and 100 % recommend to others ….. well done Fivitel on all you provide to your guests ❤️

GGuest UserBooked a room here on October 10th 2022. Short review: 1) Bugs in the bed. 2) No soundproofing whatsoever. You can hear all your neighbors on the floor. 3) Very noisy AC. 4) Poor service. Longer review: It was about 5 p.m. already and I needed a place to stay a night, so searched nearby hotels in Booking. Because I wanted to check what the hotel was like before booking (most of the pictures were computer-generated or touched up), I went there and asked about the rooms. The receptionist first showed a room on the 11th floor (#1104?), but that one had a big moldy spots on the walls, so I declined. Then she showed the room #1004, which looked ok, plus had partial sea view. When I was going to book the room through Booking, the receptionist asked me to just pay the same price to the hotel without using Booking. It didn't matter to me, so I paid by card. Not 10 minutes in the bed, I noticed that something is bitting me. When I checked, I had bites all over my body. Like 6-7 on my right foot only. 🤪😰 Then I went to the reception, showed the receptionist the bite marks, and told her I was checking out. She replied ok, but they were not going to return the money. Even though I've been in the room for max. 20 minutes. I asked her to call the manager. After 10 or so minutes another lady came and said they'd return only 50%: because they showed me the room and I should've checked the room conditions better before booking. What?! How am I supposed to check the bugs in the bed?! 😳 I'm not in the habit of carrying a magnifying glass and checking the beds. I was pissed off for such an answer. After a long talk, a call with another manager, and another 15-20 minute wait, they decided to return the full payment. My experience in there was awful. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Actually I was puzzled how this hotel has a 8+ rating? My guess is that many people just don't bother to leave a review. So I decided to leave mine, so next time someone is looking for a hotel, they will know what awaits them there. Hope your travel will have only wonderful experiences and memories. 🙂

If you’re just looking for a dormitory, probably OK. 1) The fact that they don’t have power supply to the rooms without the key card installed (they only offered one), means your laptop, power bank, camera gear, etc. will not be charged when you return to the room. 2) the Internet is unusable inside the room, forget a video conference or a FaceTime call to your loved ones. Forget getting that spreadsheet or business document for tomorrow’s important meeting. 3) Bring earplugs. You might get jolted from your bed at six in the morning from the guests in adjacent rooms that like to scream back-and-forth at each other while preparing for their whatever, tourist vacation, excursion, etc. Extra points for the shrieking kid with the temper tantrum. I have never seen such a grandiose display of banging screaming and crying for more than one hour. Putting the pillow over your head isn’t going to help, folks. Extra extra points for this happening two days in a row. Other than that, the staff are affable, the venue seems OK, although I didn’t check out much (word is there may be a pool here), I just went there to sleep as I couldn’t work there. And very little sleep it was.

TtomsuperIt's basically worth the price. It's not bad. It's convenient to eat at the door and there is a canteen. The wild woman on the street next door is more enthusiastic and barks. She often forgets to put the toothbrush and toilet paper. I still tip the cleaning staff.
