Da Nang Hostels

I lived in a single room so I didn’t experience the fun of many people, but the environment is very good. There is a separate small drying table outside and the same space as the opposite one. It rains that day, so there are no people on the roof. It’s a family not far away. It's delicious. Pork knuckle noodles with pork ribs. It's really awesome.

Wow - I booked the two bedroom apartment at this hostel and got the cutest, multi-levelled, stylish place to stay. Simply decked out, it came with a kitchenette and separate bathroom. Both rooms had air con but no windows but the little living area had a clear ceiling and plenty of natural light. Well situated in the heart of da nang, it was only a few seconds away from the market, shops and loads of restaurants. And it was a 10 minute drive to the beach - cheap to get to with a driver (avoid the expensive taxis!) The staff are excellent and speak good English and they accommodate with booking anything you need. There is a very cool bar on the top of the building with super friendly staff and a good cheap cocktail list. A 40 minute drive to the touristy Hoi An is worth the trip but being in the heart where the locals live, gives a much better insight of the way the Vietnamese people. A gem amongst the many hostels! Recommended!

The seahorse definitely look out for their guests; I had an unfortunate incident having left my passport in the hostel, only to realise once I had reached Da lat and planning to fly from Ho Chi Minh in the next week. I contacted seahorse and Lê Hiên searched the room and locker; she managed to locate my passport and other important documents which had slipped behind the locker in a very confined space. Lê Hiên managed to retrieve these documents, scraping her arm in the process and sent them to my next travel location by first class mail, free of charge! This level of service and assistance can not be topped and I’m very grateful for the attention Lê Hiên gave to find my passport; I owe the rest of my travels to Lê Hiên and the seahorse, thank you!

This hotel is 5 minutes away from the road and is Meixi Beach. It is very convenient to go to the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset. Below is the seafood street. If you like to eat seafood, you can eat enough, but the price is a bit expensive. Going inside is cheaper, maybe the location is too good. The room is very small and the bed is the kind of 1.5 meters. It is just enough to put two beds. The facilities are outdated and there is no hot water. Because the weather is too hot, and the language communication is inconvenient, we can make do with it.

I first came to Da Nang, thinking of a place to live, let’s find a youth hostel. The guy at the front desk smiles when he sees people. There is also a young lady who speaks Chinese. She lives in a very comfortable place. She rented a motorcycle from someone else’s. It's a little expensive, 150,000 VND a day, but the car is a better grade than others. I spent more than ten days in Da Nang, and then I rented a motorcycle from him somewhere else. It really feels comfortable to drive. The environment and facilities are super worthwhile for this price. I have also stayed in other hostels, and this is a great value for money. The bed is also a bit soft, I am a bit uncomfortable sleeping on a hard bed, but the youth hostels here are all soft beds of this kind, except for this soft bed I am not very satisfied, the others are simply superb

The downside is that the surrounding area is not a tourist spot, but it is completely steamy local. There is no tourist spot to visit on foot. Instead, it doesn't matter if you have a means of moving or grab. Pros The staff are really friendly. Clean facilities. I stayed in the dormitory room and the air conditioner was still full You can feel the local vacuum. Chongpyeong Very good if you come to sleep.
