Royal Beachfront Villas & Spa Hoi An Danang

We checked into our Villa at the Royal Cafe. They offer a butler service that arranged our airport transfers to the hotel and shuttle bus services to Hoi An Ancient Town, as well as booking water activities. Communicating directly via WhatsApp was very convenient. The hotel offers many activities, but the information is only displayed on the TV. It would be better if they provided details of all services via a QR code or other digital methods during check-in. There was a slight difference between the Spa promotion we booked initially and what we were charged for, leading to a dispute during payment. It would be best to list all offers in detail.

Our experience was fantastic! A huge thank you to Nhat Linh and Brian Dinh for their help, which made our trip so wonderful. The villa environment was excellent, everything was well-maintained and clean. The pool view was beautiful and had a great ambiance. Breakfast was very rich and satisfying. We wouldn't get bored even if we stayed in the villa all day. Although the location is a bit far out, calling a car was very convenient. We'll definitely be back next time!

All the staff at the hotel were wonderful, the environment was beautiful, and my family had a really great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's ambiance and facilities, and overall had a very pleasant experience. The only downside was the buffet, which was quite ordinary. On top of that, there was a waitress who never smiled, and I felt like her attitude towards Asian guests was particularly poor – no smile at all, and it seemed like she was giving us dirty looks. I also noticed that she was secretly letting European and American guests, who weren't staying in villas, into our exclusive villa breakfast area.

Don't book this place! The villa shares a lobby with the Wyndham resort, which costs over 500 [yuan/currency]. From the outside, it looks like a four-star hotel in a Chinese county town, and the overall quality is really poor. The villa's private common area is tiny, with only a minuscule pool. The ground floor rooms are incredibly damp, and the breakfast is terribly basic.

This is a resort we'd happily visit again with family. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and it boasts a private beach. About half of the guests are Westerners, with the other half split between Asians and locals. There were also some Hong Kong guests, but interestingly, very few Koreans. The two-bedroom beachfront pool villa is essentially the three-bedroom layout, with one bedroom locked off. It was just perfect for my parents, my child, and me. The villa has direct access to the beach, and you can watch breathtaking sunrises right from your bed. The villa area also has its own breakfast spot. All the hotel staff can communicate in English, and the service was excellent. During meals, they would proactively ask if anything wasn't to our liking and offered to remake it. A male manager in the lobby (I forgot to ask his name) also provided excellent service. He offered to treat us to the lounge during check-in (though it ended up being charged to my room account). At check-out, he personally escorted us to our car. If you're looking for a relaxing, beach-focused vacation, I highly recommend this place. My only two minor critiques: it's about a 25-minute drive from the city's My Khe Beach, 40 minutes from the airport, and around 50 minutes from the Ba Na Hills cable car. The second point is that the hotel's dining prices are on par with Western standards. For four of us, we had four main meals at the hotel, usually one main dish per person and two drinks, which came to roughly 2700+ RMB.

Hotel not yet completed... untidy atmosphere... untrained staff... The main swimming pool is quite large, but the beachside pool is small... There seem to be a lot of local groups... If the price is the same in Da Nang, there will be a lot of options...
