My recent stay at Fivitel Queen was a series of unfortunate events that left me quite disappointed. It seemed like one disaster followed another, creating a rather frustrating experience overall. From the moment I arrived, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my stay.
To begin with, upon entering my room, I discovered that the light switch was not working. This may seem like a minor inconvenience. This issue should have been resolved prior to my check-in, as it is a basic necessity for any guest.
Additionally, the presence of fleas in my bed was an alarming and highly unpleasant surprise. This raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance standards of the hotel. Finding pests in a supposedly comfortable space is not something any guest expects or deserves.
Furthermore, I encountered problems with the plug points in my room. They were blocked, making it impossible for me to charge any of my devices initially. Although maintenance did fix the issue while I was in the room, it was an inconvenience that could have been avoided with proper inspection and preparation before my arrival.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, the hotel staff offered to move me to another room. However, this solution only added to my disappointment. The new room had a malfunctioning air conditioner that emitted a loud buzzing sound and carried a strong smell of bug spray. I pointed out fleas in this bed too. It was far from the comfortable and pleasant environment I had hoped for.
After another room change, I finally found myself in a room where the air conditioner was working properly. However, it required maintenance to fix it before I moved in, causing yet another inconvenience and delay in settling into my accommodation.
To top it all off, the receptionist inexplicably woke me from my sleep at 9:25 pm to inquire about my transportation needs to the airport. This could have been addressed at any other time, such as during check-in or check-out, or earlier in the day. It was an unnecessary disturbance that added further frustration to my already troubled experience.
Despite these numerous disappointments and inconveniences, I must acknowledge a few positive aspects. The final room I stayed in was cool and comfortable, providing some relief after the tumultuous series of events. The Wi-Fi worked well, allowing me to stay connected, and the hotel's proximity to the beach was certainly a convenient feature. Additionally, I appreciated the presence of a nice rooftop bar, which offered a pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
In conclusion, my stay at Fivitel Queen was marred by a series of unfortunate incidents that overshadowed the positive aspects of the hotel. While the final room had reliable Wi-Fi, and the appealing rooftop bar provided some comfort, they couldn't compensate for the initial mishaps and inconveniences that occurred. I hope that the hotel management takes these issues seriously, addressing them promptly to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future guests.
