Our stay at the hotel was okay. Why we enjoyed our stay: the hotel has two playgrounds indoor (with the aircon), outdoor (by the sea). There are different events throughout the day for adults and for kids. The room is bright and spacious. The breakfast has various local and Western food options. Why it was not a good option for us. I payed for the partial sea view room but my family was put to the second floor facing the community garden and villas. I had to talk to the manager to negotiate the service I had paid for. After that we were put to the 9th floor with a sea view. We used the shuttle service but the shuttle bus did not show up in the evening, leaving about 12 people (including our two toddlers) in the city. The hotel initially said that it seems like the bus had come but we missed it, then finding an excuse that the traffic was bad and they would not send another bus. Besides, during the check-in the hotel charged me three times the amount that was announced on the trip.com. After some negotiation they agreed to pay for our taxis which we had to wait for another hour or so b/c it was the ***** new year. They tried to make amends by offering us four coconuts but there had been so many hiccups that we would probably consider other options next time.
The room was incredibly noisy, probably due to a karaoke bar on the street below that played music until around 11 PM every night. We were initially assigned a room on the third floor, but after some negotiation, we were moved to the sixth floor. I had booked a quad room, but they only gave me one key card. After further discussion, they eventually gave me another one. Each time I tried to resolve an issue, the initial response was always, 'We're fully booked, we can't help you.' It took a lengthy conversation to finally get things sorted. I even emailed the hotel, and they replied that during the New Year period, they were trying to provide better service, so they withheld worn-out key cards from me ๐. Alright, I guess. However, I still think staff training needs to improve, as their first reaction shouldn't be 'we're fully booked, I can't assist you.'

This is a recently built hotel with rather attractive and modern facilities, which led us to expect an excellent stay. Unfortunately, the service and the quality of the rooms are absolutely not up to the standard of a 5-star establishment.
The rooms were dirty: mold on the bathroom shutters, very dirty windows with many marks (especially in the bathroom), unclean toilet bins, and visible dirt in the kitchen. This level of hygiene is unacceptable for this category of hotel.
We had to request a room change twice before we could even hope to get a suitable room, which is simply outrageous. Moreover, we had to wait for everything: the service is extremely slow and the staff unfriendly.
Itโs very disappointing, because the potential is there, but the lack of cleanliness and the quality of the service completely ruin the experience.
The hotel isn't close to the beach, so you'll need to take a taxi or rent a scooter to get around. The breakfast spread was quite good, and the staff were friendly. There was a minor issue during checkout, but it was resolved in the end. I also remembered to take pictures of the minibar items when I checked in.
