Our sea view room experience was absolutely worth it! The room offered an unobstructed, expansive view, and we could see the ocean right from our bed. Waking up to the sunrise and the sound of waves in the morning was incredibly atmospheric. The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities, soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing. Both the front desk and housekeeping services were very attentive; check-in was fast and efficient, and the attention to detail made us feel completely at ease. The location is superb, making travel convenient, and the value for money is outstanding. It's perfect whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or a great spot for photos. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

I usually don't like writing reviews, and I've been to Dali four or five times already, but this place was an unexpected surprise. For a room type costing a few thousand yuan, the facilities, location, and service here are impeccable. When you come to Erhai Lake, you really need to find an open-plan public area to fully appreciate the views. The breakfast is very generous, and even makeup remover wipes can be requested in the room – the amenities are excellent. I don't drink sugary beverages, and Miss Li even helped me buy sugar-free Coke every day. There are other branches of this brand within the old town, all of which you can visit for free. The detailed and thoughtful service far exceeded any other hotel I've stayed at in the area within the same price range! I will definitely come back again!

Embrace the light and wind of Erhai Lake. Standing on this staircase that leads to the mountains and sea, I finally understand what it means to 'face the sea, with spring blossoms.' The transparent glass railing frames the entire Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountains into a flowing painting. Sunlight sprinkles on the water, breaking into a myriad of silver scales. The wind, carrying moisture, sweeps over the steps, making every breath feel clear and pure. White-walled, dark-tiled buildings are nestled among lush greenery, with distant mountains faintly visible in the mist. Time here slows down enough to count the rhythm of the waves. From the terrace to the stairs, every corner hides a meticulously designed romantic touch. You don't need to deliberately find an angle; every casual shot is a stunning, therapeutic masterpiece of mountains and sea. Idling here, watching the clouds, and listening to the wind, all anxieties are gently soothed by the waters of Erhai Lake, leaving only peace and freedom. Anchor yourself here, let the wind follow the blossoms. This is the most enchanting stop by Erhai Lake; once you arrive, you'll never want to leave.

This trip to Erhai Lake was simply perfect! The beauty of Erhai Lake is well-deserved, with mist in the morning and sunset in the evening, and the afterglow sprinkled on the lake. Staying in the hotel in Shuanglang was even more pleasant, quiet and comfortable, especially suitable for relaxing. I especially want to praise the housekeeper Xiaolong, who provided considerate service from check-in to check-out. He not only patiently answered all my questions, but also enthusiastically recommended surrounding attractions and food, which was a great experience! Every morning when I wake up, I can enjoy the delicious breakfast prepared by the hotel, which is rich in variety and tastes great, injecting full vitality into the day's journey. Next time I come to Erhai Lake, I will definitely choose here again! [Strong]

A hotel that truly feels like great value for money. This trip to Erhai Lake had no fixed itinerary; I just spontaneously decided to visit Shuanglang. Since I hadn't done any research, I didn't have high expectations for the hotel. To my surprise, checking in was a delightful surprise – both the environment and the room were tasteful and very beautiful. The hotel is located within the ancient town's pedestrian area. The butler contacts guests in advance to arrange transfer services for both guests and their luggage. Upon check-in, the staff patiently explains everything about the hotel and all its amenities.

Nice property, but service could reallllly improve a lot. Our first request was to ask the hotel to find us a reservation at the Sun Palace. The immediate response was “no, sorry you have to book it yourself.” WHAT??? If you are touting a butler / concierge service, that is NOT the response you expect to receive. The team remediated shortly after with attempts to help us find tickets but honestly, the initial response left a very sour taste. We weren’t expecting magically to find tickets, but any effort or attempts to help would have been appreciated.  Second, housecleaning (and there was turn down service) never removed the welcome tray that was given (although clearly empty and should ahead been cleared).  Third, no one asks for your drink order at dinner, and we had to repeatedly flag people down for refills. They also don’t mention that drinks are an additional charge (which we’re fine with, but is something that should be communicated ahead of time). For the price point, you expect a certain level of hospitality which this hotel did not meet.

Staying at this hotel in Dali is like stepping into a live Chinese ink painting! The architectural design is a masterpiece - the moon shaped grey brick and wooden arches frame the golden ginkgo trees and their reflections in the water so beautifully, every corner is Instagram gold. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the tranquil garden vibe makes you forget all city chaos. Apart from the helpful and attentive staff, what truly stands out is the attention to detail in every element, from the traditional tiles to the serene water features. If you’re into authentic Chinese aesthetics and a peaceful retreat, this hidden gem in Dali is a must-stay. Trust me, it’s way more than just a hotel, it’s an immersive cultural experience!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, right on the pedestrian street, and the environment is beautiful, situated right by Erhai Lake with stunning, peaceful scenery. The room facilities are excellent, with top-brand bathroom fixtures and smart home features that make things convenient and hassle-free. Most importantly, the service is outstanding! All the staff are warm, attentive, and always willing to help. They provided us with complimentary afternoon tea and a two-person set meal, and room service was always prompt. Someone helped us with our luggage both upon arrival and departure, which was a very thoughtful touch. I really hope to stay at this hotel again!

This time I chose their very cost-effective room type. The room is oversized and oversized. In the room, opposite Cangshan and Erhai Lake. The configuration of the room is also very high, and the minibar is free. Another friend has a washing machine. 🏨 [Service] After booking, I will receive a call from the hotel, and then add WeChat to inform Dali of the weather and precautions, etc. The location sent by the hotel is also very careful. During the stay, the whole butler service, if you have any needs, the butler can fully meet it. The vacation does not need to worry about it, just lie down.
