The waterfront B&B is very quiet. The facilities and butler service are worth more than five stars. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, and luggage pick-up by the butler. The open-air landscape public area is relatively large in the ancient town. There is a small garden and an open-air restaurant in the open air, both of which are suitable for taking pictures. There are only two water swings, and this is one of them. The Santorini style, the view in the room is great, unobstructed, and you can see the sunrise and sunset of Erhai Lake in the room in the morning and evening.

beautiful lodging with amazing view of Erhai and the mountains. Morning view is unreal. butler Xiao Du 小杜 was very attentive and helpful, always responsive when approached. Other hotel staff were also very sweet and attentive, preparing breakfast for us to takeaway as we have to check out early to get the train. Only thing to note is the no. Of insects from the sea that will be attracted to the light in the room. Nothing the hotel can do as its nature, but Xiao Du will remind you to keep the doors closed at night so that the flies don’t come in.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pure Soul Cliff Seaview Manor. The grounds and rooms are mediterannean themed, and it is beautiful! The staff and our host Mim were top-notch and made our stay more enjoyable. The ride and help with the luggage from the train station was a big bonus. The afternoon tea/coffee/dessert was delightful and the breakfast was simple, but delicious. The location was excellent and away from the crowds.

Great Location: 10-minute walk to the ancient city. Comfortable Room: Bed comes with a heater, and the shower has hot water with high pressure, but no smart toilet bowl. Friendly Staff: The staff were welcoming, and we received a free upgrade to a better room. Simple but Nice Breakfast: The breakfast was basic, but enjoyable. Nice Decor: The hotel has a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, with tasteful decoration. Nice simple breakfast (see photo) Good value for the price!

Excellent location, big rooms, very clean. The best part of the hotel is the location inside the Dali Ancient Town, just 5 minutes away from the entrance to the old town. This is convenient if you are renting a car or taking cabs to get around Dali, as cars are not allowed inside the ancient town most of the time. The hotel has great views of the mountain and has a very modern look and feel. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at a hotel right outside the 南门of the Ancient City, and its location couldn't have been more convenient. Given how jammed Dali can get, walking was the best option, and this hotel’s location made it incredibly easy to explore the area on foot. The staff here is simply the best I’ve ever encountered. I had many parcels delivered to the hotel before my arrival, and they not only managed all of them seamlessly but also offered to send out additional parcels on my behalf. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they attended to our requests promptly and always with a smile. Their dedication to going above and beyond was truly impressive. The staff also provided excellent recommendations for food and activities nearby, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic, and the views of 苍山 were amazing. We had a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back!

I had enjoyed my stay at Dali Ancient Luchun Hotel extremely much due to the excellent service. They really weren’t lying about the Haidilao-style service.  Their front desk personnel manning the Wechat (慕雅) was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to my requests. The lobby staff were also very helpful in delivering stuff to my room and when I was carrying luggages, they ran forward and assisted me immediately.  The services at this hotel were also unique and special: warm milk delivery daily (so that you can sleep) and free pick-up to and from the Ancient City and also to the airport/railway.  Nearby (10 minutes walk) there is also street food that tastes amazing and is value for money.  Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for stellar service and helpful staff and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance to visit Dali.  我非常喜欢入住大理麓椿花园酒店，他们提供的优质服务真的名不虚传，确实有海底捞式服务的水准。 前台负责微信客服的慕雅对我的各种需求都非常响应和耐心解答。大堂的工作人员也很热情周到，每次送东西到房间时都很及时，当我提着行李时，他们还会主动上前帮忙。 酒店的服务也非常独特和贴心：每天送热牛奶（助眠），还提供免费接送服务，不仅接送古城，还可以送到机场或高铁站。 附近也有步行十分钟可达的街头美食，味道很棒，性价比也很高。 总之，我会推荐这家酒店给任何想要体验优质服务和热心员工的客人。如果有机会再次来到大理，我一定会选择再次入住这家酒店！

WOW The room is beautiful and clean. Self-check-in is easy. The room is big and suitable for family or friends. In front of the accommodation, there is a restaurant with complete facilities. The best thing is the view from the room is very beautiful. I highly recommend this accommodation for those who come to Dali and like beautiful views from high floors. Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

Amazing stay at this BnB for 2 nights. The host helped to arrange for pick up service before we arrived and also sent us to the railway station when we left. They were also really friendly and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was simple and homely but good. Some insects were in our room which came in through open window and the host helped to resolve the issue really quickly! Highly recommend :)
