Hotels near Erhaiyue Wetland Park, Dali

Dali was a relatively unfamiliar name to me. From the temporary station in Dali to the entrance of the Pullman Hotel, everything seemed indistinguishable from other small to medium-sized cities. However, during my two-day stay at this hotel, I encountered the attentive Beata at the front desk, the ever-smiling and enthusiastic Felix in the lobby, and the kind-hearted driver Xiao Bao. They truly made me feel at home. Thanks to the recommendations of Felix and Beata, we were fortunate to have Xiao Bao as our guide for a day trip around Erhai Lake. Like many other tourists, we admired Cangshan Mountain, enjoyed the views of Erhai, tasted Xi Zhou Baba, got sunburnt, and took some mediocre photos—memories that might fade over time. Perhaps I won’t often recall the stories Xiao Bao shared about the history of the Dali Kingdom, the transformation of Yunnan’s war god into a mythical creature, or the customs of the Bai people’s weddings, the local treasures, and peculiarities. But what Xiao Bao left us with was a deeper connection and more unforgettable memories. I will remember how Xiao Bao passionately and vividly introduced his hometown to us. I will remember how he diligently and safely drove us for nine hours in one day, enduring the scorching sun while showing us the scenic spots around Erhai. He gave us a beautiful day. He added warmth and color to Cangshan and Erhai, bringing out an unparalleled shade of blue, perhaps the same deep indigo blue that the Bai people cherish. Though our two days in Dali were short, they were filled with meaning, leaving me with a sense of longing as I departed. I believe I will remember Dali for a long time, and I will fondly think of the people I met here. I hope Dali’s sun is gentle, so Xiao Bao’s sensitive skin feels more comfortable. Thank you, Xiao Bao, and the Pullman staff who took care of us these past two days. Dali, I will often think of you. Because of you all, this place is truly wonderful and beautiful and memorable.

The view from this huge floor-to-ceiling window is really amazing. My son said he liked it very much. We checked in after midnight due to special reasons, and the housekeeper responded in time. The projection screen was crooked and he patiently guided how to adjust it. The air conditioner had a problem on the last night, but fortunately there was a window. The only suggestion is that if the laundry service cannot be provided, some drying facilities should be prepared in the room. I am a guest who doesn't like to leave dirty clothes in the suitcase, especially like this time, I was originally going to hike, and I brought very few clothes with me, but they were all quick-drying and needed to be washed and dried in time, but there was no suitable drying place in the room.

Amazing stay at this BnB for 2 nights. The host helped to arrange for pick up service before we arrived and also sent us to the railway station when we left. They were also really friendly and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was simple and homely but good. Some insects were in our room which came in through open window and the host helped to resolve the issue really quickly! Highly recommend :)

Our room was a very comfortable Duplex. Breakfast was a spread. Location is convenient and close to several photo taking spots and the main tourist attraction - Dali ancient city. Service at this hotel is the most fantastic, one of the friendliest service staff we have met. On one occasion, they even assisted with the transferring of our laundry from the washer to the dryer - we didn’t had to wait to DIY and just went to bed, collected them at the reception then following morning - which was a very delightful experience for us. The hotel gym is also extremely well equipped if you need a workout to acclimatise to the higher altitude. Overall a very enjoyable stay for three of us.

We recently stayed at a hotel right outside the 南门of the Ancient City, and its location couldn't have been more convenient. Given how jammed Dali can get, walking was the best option, and this hotel’s location made it incredibly easy to explore the area on foot. The staff here is simply the best I’ve ever encountered. I had many parcels delivered to the hotel before my arrival, and they not only managed all of them seamlessly but also offered to send out additional parcels on my behalf. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they attended to our requests promptly and always with a smile. Their dedication to going above and beyond was truly impressive. The staff also provided excellent recommendations for food and activities nearby, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic, and the views of 苍山 were amazing. We had a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back!

It’s a quiet beautiful hotel conveniently located at the old town. The non-smoking room is modern with Japanese toilet/bidet with adequate heating. Good wifi. Wide spread of breakfast. Service is good. We celebrated our friend’s birthday and the kitchen prepared longevity noodles for the birthday girl. Nice spacious environment, too. Check in & check out is fast. Highly recommendable hotel.

Very good location, close enough to walk to the nearest entrance of the ancient town and very quiet environment, away from the noise and crowd. The room is quite spacious with everything we needed, including a nice tea table and tea set. The bed was especially comfortable, we slept very well during both nights. Most importantly, the owners were very nice, always checking on us if we needed anything else. We had a few small conversations with them, shared thoughts about culture and travel experiences. They also offered us sweet soup as supper and waffle for afternoon tea. We did not take their pickup service but they offered to send us to the train station upon checking out. Highly recommended, will stay here again if we visit Dali next time. Ps: Huanxi is such a lovely and friendly dog!

Super friendly staff who recommended nice dinner places. Room is a bit small, but this hotel is located in the ancient city, so it is understandable. There is construction going on at the main street outside the hotel, so you have to pull your luggage across a few alleys. Breakfast not included.

The host and the staff are very very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to everyone for your stay in Lijiang, and we will definitely return to this hotel! The view from the rooftop is spectacular, with delicious afternoon tea and “suyoucha” testing session hosted at the rooftop. The homestay locate at a quiet and peaceful street, 15mins walking distance away from Lijiang Old Town, with a lot of eateries and convenient shops around. The staffs constantly checked on us, helping us with all of our enquiry and also our MeiTuan delivery!

The room is so beautiful~ The balcony is right next to Erhai Lake, the breakfast is rich, the service is very thoughtful, the housekeeper Liu Jin started to help us send the location as soon as we received the order, picked us up and delivered us to the right place, the phone was online in real time, and the service was very considerate
