Incredible place, feels like staying in a bubble away from everything. High standards for the furniture and the experience, a lot of attention to detail and great taste. It was the highlight of our trip.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, it is so nice and clean. The service was also very nice, they were so kind, their kindness really made my day.

Stupendous service and cultural yet luxuriously comfortable accommodation. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They went out of their way to provide tiptop service to me. They had friendly and kind staff who helped me with any and every issue or question I had. I'm very thankful for their kind assistance - especially with a courier item that was delayed and could not reach me in time. I also really appreciate the free nightly cocktail, the free tie-dye experience, the free photoshoot and costume, the connection to a good scooter company, etc.

One of the most authentic hotels I have seen in Yunnan. A well-done contemporary hotel set in a historical frame, with attention to detail. The way you enter the hotel is typical of houses from that period – a long path brings you into the inner courtyard. Speaking of the courtyard, it is well-designed and well-maintained, and truly the jewel of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, and I loved the separation between the bedroom and the living room. The bathtub and shower were placed perfectly to allow a shower before a bath. The hotel would already be a solid 10/10 with just that. But the hidden gem of this hotel was the staff. The concierge service was at the level of a five-star hotel. They helped with many requests: they waited for us at the door when our driver picked us up from the train station, helped us find a great driver for a day trip (who was very professional), offered breakfast in the room before I even asked, and also prepared early breakfasts when we needed to leave early for a trip. I recommend this accommodation for a calm and restful stay in the effervescent city of Ancient Dali. Also, the tea in the room was delicious and all the food was divine.
