great room. slept very well. yummy yunnan coffee and breakfast made by Anan, lovely host and tour guide who speaks english. loved the family who lives there and their cat and neighbors's cat. was able to stretch and do some yoga poses and the rooftop terrace has a great view of dali, the mtns and you can also get a glimpse of lake. will come back

Very nice location. Close to the old city. It has a gym inside a dormitory where some guest sleep and a yoga space that is no longer working. The host family is nice and it gives it a familiar vibe. Nice to stay.

Alex and his staff were really nice and helpful. The guesthouse itself is gorgeous!! A small garden, a fit room, shared bed-dorm was awesome but wooden beds and wooden panels. Beds were comfy and warm, I appreciate curtains for more privacy Great location just a street away to ancient city, and 3 minutes to bus 4 to Dali railway station

Sweet friendly people. Free room-upgrade. The host spoke a little English. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the city center. Scooter rental available next door. Highly recommended in Dali!

The dorm I stayed in is a converted Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym. Spotless and frequently mopped to account for any drips from the ceiling (I visited during the wet season and it rained constantly for the entire two days, so a couple of drips nowhere near the beds are understandable). There’s some gym equipment and slippers for use. The bathroom has no shower and no soap, which is unfortunate. Hostel staff were friendly and helpful and their English is good. Some food is available, too: the tea is excellent.

Amazing place with amazing people. The dorm is simple and it has a toilet in the room. Perfect location to visit the ancient city and Cangshan mountain area. If you need help, you will be fully supported.

The hostelowners were very kind and helped me a lot with renting bikes & booking transport to my next location. During my stay it rained quite a bit, and I feel like there weren’t a lot of places to ‘chill’ indoors other than the bedrooms. This might be a point for improvement! I did meet other lovely travelers here, so overall a nice place!

Overall it was a great experience, could be better if there had been some kind of heating, but won’t complain for the price.

Would recommend Hosting Friendly and smiley. Took up bags without asking. Answer questions over wechat. Even the other guests were friendly! Usually Chinese visitors don't really speak to me (which is fine of course), but the girls I shared a room with even asked me to dinner with them and shared food Location The pictures they have down for the exterior, it's actually to the left of that. walking distance to the ancient village and chongsheng temple. easy trips to the lake. Amenities Fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, shoe dryer, toiletries, kitchen area etc. all included. There's like a communal courtyard area as well and I believe you can eat there too but you need to book it the day before by a certain time. Bathroom Sit down toilet. Shower. Toiletries. Looks a bit shabby at first glance but the shower toilet and sink are all working and very clean Room Lovely thick mattress (I've found they are usually quite thin in Chinese hostels so this was a nice surprise). Heater if needed. I'm not entirely sure how the lock on the door is supposed to be done. Overall great atmosphere. The pictures look a little bit rough around the edges but its honestly fine and i think I could stay here a while

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shared dorm rooms are nice, good bathroom, and everywhere is very clean, and use of a washing machine. The social areas are nice with access to a kettle, fridge, and microwave. There's a terrace on the top floor with great views of the city.

Great stay just a 10-minute walk from the old town of Dali. An e-scooter rental shop is only a few minutes away. The room was spacious, with a hot shower, and the gym was a large hall equipped with some weights—perfect for workouts or yoga practice. Definitely recommend!

I travel by bike and staying at this hostel was very convenient. But the most important thing is the hospitality of the hosts and also a large gym, where I practiced yoga in the morning, as I am used to
