Youfeng Courtyard

I chose this place because it's known for being windy, which is perfect for scenic photos. The guesthouse isn't super convenient to get to, but they offer airport transfers, and the butler even helped with our luggage. The room wasn't huge, but the facilities were good and it was very clean. The butler's service was excellent; they promptly provided cold medicine when needed and even helped out in the middle of the night when my child had a nosebleed. Combined with the charm of the guesthouse itself, I was very satisfied with the entire trip! 👍

Facilities: The facilities are well-designed and fully equipped, with both common and emergency items available. Cleanliness: It was clean and tidy, with a pleasant fragrance. Environment: The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was lovely. In the mornings, you could hear birds chirping and see squirrels jumping in the trees. Service: They proactively contacted me a day in advance to ask if I needed airport pickup. They helped with my luggage, and also provided airport drop-off when I left, waiting until my luggage was in the car before leaving. Any inquiries were met with instant replies, and the staff were very friendly. Souvenirs: The tea was fragrant, and the postcards were beautiful. One-time pickup and drop-off (airport/station): The driver contacted me in advance, drove steadily, and knew the route well. Professional photographer for 5 photos at an influencer-worthy spot (digital copies): The photos turned out really well!

It was an immersive experience, just like being in a TV show, and the recreation was spot on. When there are fewer people, you can have the whole breezy courtyard to yourself! The pick-up and drop-off service was a huge plus. All the staff were young men, very enthusiastic and even upgraded our room. Although it's an old wooden house, the soundproofing was better than expected, even if the room wasn't very big. The facilities aren't quite up to a high-end guesthouse standard, but the ambiance and service more than made up for it.

If you're coming to Dali, you absolutely have to visit Youfeng Xiaoyuan! It's an ancient-style town, super photogenic. The guy at the front desk, Mr. Duan, was exceptionally helpful. I love Dali, but I love Youfeng Xiaoyuan even more!

This charming, tranquil courtyard with lush greenery is perfect for photoshoots, and the inn's photographer is excellent. The rooms are compact but well-arranged, and some even have terraces, which are also great for pictures. The staff, especially one young man, was very helpful with our luggage.
