Atour Hotel March Street in Dali Ancient City

This hotel exceeded our expectations right from the start with professional reception, beautiful compound, very clean and new furnishing ＜3 the laundry service is also impeccable as they will do the drying and delivering of your clothes to your room. Good walking distance to Dali Ancient City. No complaints at all and will definitely recommend this hotel

Negative: 1) On second and third mornings, workers can be seen working on the roof of the next low building, intruding into our privacy from around 8am to 6pm. I have to draw the blackout curtains the whole day where the room itself is already not very brightly lit. Atour is very unprofessional in dealing with this. I thought it was only for one morning and didn’t asked for a room change. The workers are still working when I checked out on the third morning . It’s so annoying ! 2) There is a standard ironing board but no standard steam or dry iron. Only 2 steam irons that are usually used in shops are available. Water keeps dripping when I try to use them, wetting my dry garment. 3) laundry room is so dim. Is someone going to have a candlelight dinner there? 4) Supper starts at 9.30pm and by 9.47pm, popular side dishes and steamed paus are finished. 2 big pots of porridge and some uninteresting side dishes are left.If Atour intended to feed their guests supper, please be generous. We are not beggars! Positive: Bed and pillows are really comfortable. We get restful sleep for 3 nights. Water pressure is good. Room is clean and big. 10 minutes’ walk to ancient city. Very vibrant surroundings
