Dali Yuexi Homestay（Ancient city Renmin Road store）

Very satisfied! I arrived at midnight, and a kind gentleman picked me up with my luggage in a private car. The B&B is very close to the East Gate, which is super convenient. You can easily get to restaurants and attractions by just taking a taxi. The location is quiet yet central. Check out the pictures for details! 👀 All in all, this was a great choice 👍

This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at in an ancient town. It's located near Erhai Gate, making it super convenient to hail a taxi and get anywhere outside the city gate. The room decor is exquisite, and all the facilities are smart, even the hairdryer is a Dyson! They even provide makeup remover wipes and body lotion for female guests – the attention to detail is truly top-notch 💯. The breakfast rice noodles were the most delicious I've had during my entire trip. They also offer eight-treasure porridge, mini steamed buns, eggs, corn, and sweet potatoes – healthy, nutritious, and tasty 😋. My favorite part was 'Little Ding-Dong,' such a friendly dog. I'll miss him the most after leaving the guesthouse 🥹. The front desk staff were also excellent; they were very patient with pickups, drop-offs, and check-in procedures. You can also get complimentary milk and coffee at the front desk, which, paired with the small round biscuits, makes for a very pleasant treat. During the cold weather, the guesthouse even turned on the fire pit for us. Sitting by it and warming up was so cozy, especially with the tapioca sweet soup they provided – absolutely divine! I can't forget that tapioca sweet soup 🤤.

A perfect experience! The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The host was warm and thoughtful, the location was convenient, and it offered incredible value for money. I'll definitely be back next time, highly recommended!

A truly excellent guesthouse. It's located right by Erhai Gate in the Old Town, with Renmin Road just outside. Yet, tucked away in an alley, it's surprisingly quiet. There's even a little tricycle service to pick up your luggage at the alley entrance. **Environment:** The courtyard isn't large, but it's very peaceful – perhaps because it was the off-season, haha. The common area has books and a coffee machine. There's also a Border Collie named Ding-Dang. **Facilities:** Smart room controls, a Dyson hairdryer, and toiletries are the same Jo Loves brand used by Atour Hotels. The bedding is very comfortable and spacious. We even got an early check-in and a room upgrade. The top floor has a washer/dryer and a gym. **Service:** Breakfast included rice noodles cooked by an auntie, along with congee and various grains. It was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Wishing them continued success!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic; you can just stroll out to the lively ancient city. Originally, it was just two of us traveling, but then one more person joined last minute, and we couldn't change the room. We thought we'd have to squeeze in, but the owner immediately upgraded our room. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the small details in the room, and it was super clean. The breakfast and little desserts were also super clean and delicious! 😋 Highly recommend.
