Dali Palace Hotel

I arrived just in time for the spring break, which meant that on April 3rd, it took me a full 6 hours to get from Sheraton Kunming to Kunming Railway Station, then to Dali Station by bullet train (one hour seated, one hour standing), and finally a taxi to the hotel. It was an exhausting journey. To make matters worse, on the evening of April 3rd, I fell for online promotions and had an awful experience dining and getting a portrait drawn for my child in Dali Old Town. Thankfully, the exceptional service, facilities, and amenities at Dali Palace Hotel (Sheraton's amenities are incomparable, not even on the same level) soothed my weary body and mind. Yesterday morning, we enjoyed a trip to Dianchi Lake, and today's day trip to Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain concluded perfectly. For lunch, we had 'Yu · Bai Ethnic Farmhouse Cuisine' with Haishao Gongyu by Erhai Lake. In the evening, we tried Shouting BBQ, a local favorite (Dali Old Town is full of shops run by outsiders preying on tourists, so don't trust online reviews there). Returning to the hotel, we still felt right at home, and the thoughtful service even provided a small surprise for my family: they gave us fatigue-relief eye patches (they must have seen my wife bought hyaluronic acid eye drops). Hence, this poetic reflection: **Feeling 1** Cangshan spans the earth, touching the boundless sky, Erhai embraces the heavens, absorbing the sun's bright eye. Dianchi's waves are calm, gulls lightly dance and soar, High above the deep ravines, eagles spread their wings and more. With the morning sun, all things anew begin, Through the clear night, I guard the world from within. No need to speak of worldly strife, or earthly din, Only to the vast mountains and rivers, my homage I bring! **Feeling 2** Dianhai swallows clouds, touching the distant blue, Eagles strike the vast sky, soaring freely anew. Gulls chase the bright waves, light as a dream they seem, The moon hangs in the clear night, cold as a frosty gleam. Morning greets the sunrise, illuminating Erhai's grace, Evening embraces Cangshan, a painting in this place. Heaven and Earth my shelter, my heart expands so wide, A stream of wind and moonlight, wild and untamed inside!

The room was great, and the service was exceptional. I'll definitely stay at Wang Palace again next time I'm in Dali, and I'll recommend it to my friends.

This is a relatively new hotel in Dali, and I was both curious and excited to try it out! During my stay, a few issues came up, but the front desk's quick response and effective communication in resolving them made me feel incredibly warm and well-cared for. I have to give a special shout-out to Manager Mr. Zhao. His professionalism truly stood out; he genuinely understood guests' perspectives, anticipated their needs, and proactively arranged solutions. The attention to detail and service here surpassed many ultra-luxury, high-star hotels – it was truly fantastic. I'm confident that under his leadership, the Dali Wanggong Hotel's service team will only get better and better. If I ever return to Dali, I'll definitely choose Dali Wanggong Hotel again!

Facilities: Well-equipped. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Surrounded by flowers and birdsong, nestled in the embrace of Cangshan Mountain. Service: Warm and attentive. The travel butler service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. They helped us plan our itinerary and recommended amazing food. The Dali vegetarian food was especially good, and the local 'fly restaurants' (small, family-run eateries) truly conquered our taste buds. Dali is a place worth visiting a million times!

This hotel is perfectly located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, making it super convenient to visit Dali Ancient City and Three Pagodas. At night, you get a stunning panoramic view of Dali Ancient City right from your balcony. The breakfast is also exquisite, featuring authentic Yunnan local specialties. We stayed in the Mountain and Sea Suite, which boasts a large balcony with breathtaking views of both Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The room itself is spacious, and the service is incredibly attentive, complete with a dedicated butler.

Traveling to Dali, I chose to stay one night at the Dali Wang Palace Hotel. It's located near the Cangshan scenic area, and the rooms even come with oxygen tanks, which is a really thoughtful touch. The environment is excellent, and the air is incredibly fresh. Waking up in the morning and strolling around the hotel grounds was incredibly refreshing.

The hotel is spotless and incredibly quiet and comfortable. The service was absolutely outstanding! Every staff member was dedicated and super friendly to guests. My child experienced altitude sickness for the first time in Yunnan, and the hotel immediately provided oxygen and even offered to accompany us to the doctor. The breakfast was delicious, and room service was very efficient. I highly, highly recommend this place. Before we left, they even gave a small gift to my child. Seriously, I can't recommend this quality hotel enough; it's truly trustworthy.
