Dali Wuyun Designer Theme Inn

I absolutely love the location of this guesthouse! It's just a three to five-minute walk to Wenxian Road, the main street leading to the ancient city. I really like the style of the guesthouse, especially the beautiful courtyard. It was so relaxing to enjoy the breeze of Dali while sipping coffee (they offer complimentary coffee and drinks!). The breakfast was rice noodles, and the complimentary goodnight dessert was peach gum and bird's nest stew – both were incredibly delicious! Even the fruit platter was exquisitely prepared. We stayed in the 'No Courtyard' room, thinking it would have two beds, but it turned out to be a two-bedroom apartment. They even provided a makeup mirror and nail clippers in the room, showing great attention to detail. The staff also contacted us in advance and personally guided us to the free parking.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The toiletry kit having nail clippers was a pleasant surprise, and the dining area also had dental floss, which shows the owner pays attention to details. The hygiene was generally satisfactory. The only downside was that there wasn't much desk space in the room, so if you have a lot of stuff, there's nowhere to put it.

Every time I visit, it feels like coming home. This place offers incredible value for money. The owner is warm and friendly, the guesthouse facilities are great, and the breakfast is delicious. The rice noodles at breakfast are the best in Dali!

A hidden gem in Dali Ancient City! So happy with my stay… Located right in Dali Ancient City, it's super convenient for dining and shopping. The place was easy to find, and the guy at reception was really nice. He was quick to help with luggage both at check-in and check-out. The room and courtyard were clean and tidy. Who understands the sheer relief of finding nail clippers in the amenity kit?!

Found a really great guesthouse near the South Gate of Dali Ancient City. The location is super convenient; you just step out and you're in the old city, and there are plenty of dining options right outside the door. What I loved most was the guesthouse's design. You can tell a lot of thought went into it – it's not some cheap, trendy influencer style. The furniture and decor are all very tasteful. Staying here was quite hassle-free. Coffee and drinks are available anytime, and the housekeeper is genuinely helpful and quick to resolve any issues. Coming back in the evening and sitting in the courtyard, enjoying the breeze, was so relaxing. It's perfect for travelers who want a quiet stay for a few days but don't want to be too far from the ancient city.
