Reviews of Erhai Zhijing Garden Seaview Hotel

For our Dali trip, we chose the Erhaijing Hotel. It's right by Erhai Lake and near Longkan Pier, offering a great balance of tranquility and convenience, with good access to the ancient city. The facilities are excellent, and the service is very attentive. My friends and family were all extremely satisfied.

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. It is beautiful overlooking the lake in a quieter part of the lake, with a beautiful flower garden. The breakfast and room were nice, but the best thing about this hotel is the staff and especially Jane. Who is doing everything to make the stay amazing. Thank you Jane and the rest of the staff and go to this hotel❤️

The hotel is great, with a lovely little garden that was in full bloom and absolutely beautiful in April. However, there were quite a few small flying insects in the evening. The kids absolutely loved it; there's a swing in the garden, and they'd play on it for a while every time we went down. Our room faced Erhai Lake directly, so we could watch the sunrise in the morning. The view was stunning. Definitely recommend it! On a side note, the breakfast consisted of rice noodles, fried eggs, and scallion pancakes, which I personally thought were pretty good. While it wasn't a buffet, the taste was decent, and both kids really enjoyed it.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I really wanted to give a good one. My friends and I commented that this guesthouse truly deserves to have been open for 10 years. First off, the scenery is beautiful, and the owner and staff are all very warm and helpful with any issues. My friend had an urgent work matter and was able to borrow a computer to get it done. I wasn't feeling well due to my period, and the guesthouse staff immediately provided an oxygen tank and made millet porridge for me. They also offer laundry and drying services, which is very convenient. Overall, the place feels very friendly and well-equipped in all aspects. The only minor drawback is that sometimes it takes a while to get a taxi.

I booked this B&B for my mom. I've stayed here once before, and it offers great value for money. It's very close to Dali Old Town and Longkan Pier. You can watch the sunrise right from your room. I'm attaching a photo I took from the room when I stayed there and another one from my mom's visit.

Booked this B&B online after seeing all the great reviews, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The common area on the first floor is huge, and the little garden out front is blooming with beautiful flowers, giving it a very artistic vibe. It's only a 10-odd yuan taxi ride to the ancient town and the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, and the Erhai Lake is just a 50-meter walk away. You can even see Erhai Lake right from your room. Highly recommend!

This guesthouse was a truly delightful surprise, a hidden gem! Our family of four was incredibly satisfied. Although the hotel is a bit older, the owners do an amazing job of maintaining it. You can really tell how much care and effort they put into everything. From the rare private garden by Erhai Lake to the bright and inviting wooden lobby, and even the little rabbit that the kids absolutely adored – there were wonderful surprises everywhere. The service also exceeded our expectations. While breakfast was simple, the rice noodles were freshly cooked in individual pots, and the wontons were handmade on the spot, both tasting delicious. The snacks and fruit offered were also of high quality. Getting around was much more convenient than from Haidong; you can step right out of the small garden onto the ecological corridor, perfect for watching the sunrise or cycling. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The guesthouse is quite old, so the facilities are also a bit dated. We booked a family room, and the smaller Simmons mattress was very uncomfortable with no support, and the layout was odd. The shower room was inconvenient, and the overall room design was strange. Ambiance: Excellent! It truly is a guesthouse in a garden! Absolutely beautiful! It's right by Erhai Lake, so you can just walk out to watch the sunrise in the morning. Service: Great! Thumbs up to them! The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but you could always ask for more. The owner even made pour-over coffee and warmed up bread for us. The owner is living the dream! So jealous!!!

The best experience staying at the very lovely and charm hotel. 100 / 10 rate to staf that really helpfull, respectfull and very understanding. Prepaired breakfast for me and family ( Muslim ) and help us with all of our needs and inquiry.. we love staying there so much.. thank you for a great experience..

The location is fantastic! It's so easy to access Erhai Lake from here, and it's not as crowded as Longkan Pier. The environment is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. The garden is also lovely, and the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, even offering local travel tips. It's definitely a guesthouse worth visiting again.

Great hotel! The made-to-order breakfast was fantastic! The location right by Erhai Lake is amazing! You can rent bikes right outside to feed the seagulls and watch the sunrise. The restaurants nearby are also good. Few people, great scenery, and an absolutely perfect location.

The hotel's decor and attention to detail are excellent, for instance, the room layout and the way the view cleverly blocks out the road. The facilities are very comprehensive; there's a Marshall speaker and a JBL projector in the room. This is definitely not a guesthouse – it's on par with a luxury hotel.

The sea-view room was incredibly comfortable, and Erhai Lake was just a short walk away. The service was excellent; they even helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly toasted bread and coffee.

The breakfast was delicious! It's a B&B right by Erhai Lake, but you need to drive slowly on the village road leading to it.
