Happy to stay Service is good the hotel is so chill and clean

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, for these reasons: 1). It is 1 hour 30 mins from Dali Old Town where all the fun things to do are 2). The service was really bad (it took about an hour to check-in as they weren’t used to checking in foreigners) and when we were out they said they couldn’t clean our room as they didn’t have a spare key 3). There was a GHEKO living in my room 4). The swimming pool was dirty, a health hazard and unfit to swim in 5). My room was damp and the paint was falling off the walls 6). The breakfast was a Chinese set meal, with no choice and no western options. There was no coffee…only instant sachets. However, the staff themselves were really lovely and kind but the hotel itself was not up to standard. I think this place has a lot of potential but improvements need to be made. I rarely leave negative reviews but I felt I needed to this time so that others don’t face the same experience as me and my friend did.

Location is by the roadside on the east side of the lake. It’s convenient but it’s far from downtown (45mins drive) as that is in the west side of the lake. The staff are helpful and try to help however they can. They don’t speak English but wechat and translator help (manage expectations). The rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic Chinese. There’s a pool for kids (not deep enough) and a lounge area with a view. If you like a quite place away from the city, then this is a good place to stay. But if you want convenience, be aware that didi/taxi is scarce, and attractions are far. There’s a restaurant next door.

There is a parking lot and an elevator. The room is quiet and clean. There are 2 rooms in this room type, sharing the living room on the first floor. There is Erhai Lake outside the window and a bathtub. The service staff are very good.

Moreover, the hotel is in an excellent location, with the beautiful Erhai Lake just outside. I can see the lake and mountains every morning when I wake up, and my mood is particularly comfortable. Here, I spent many romantic times with my girlfriend. Whether it was strolling by the lake or enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea in the hotel's cafe, it was unforgettable. This trip was really great, and I highly recommend it to every couple who wants to have a good time in Dali!

The room environment is very good. I came here with my friends and could see the sea view directly! The girls in the store are super nice. I chatted with them. I like their state very much. I envy them so much that they can see such a view every day. The mung bean soup and white fungus soup are very delicious!

This time I went to Manwu Jimu for vacation, it was really great! The environment is very comfortable, the public area is large and well-equipped. You can drink tea and chat on the fourth-floor platform while watching the sunset of Dali. It is really comfortable. In addition, the room facilities are complete and the stay is very comfortable. What touched me most was their service. The staff were warm and considerate, just like old friends for many years. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. If you also want to find a place to relax, Manwu Jimu is definitely a good choice!

Dali is so comfortable in winter, especially when the sun is shining. It is like reaching the peak of life. When I passed by, I was attracted by their coffee shop on the first floor. It was very nice. There were singers singing. I came in to ask and found out that they also had accommodation. I decided to stay there. I was shocked by the beautiful scenery on the 4th floor of the inn. The style is completely different from the first floor. I like it very much. The housekeeper is warm and thoughtful. She really made me feel at home and relaxed. I will stay here again next time I come to Dali.

Encounter Slow House Jimu🌄When I was looking for a secluded place that could slow down time, I encountered Slow House Jimu, which was like a quiet gem lost in the world, shining brightly. The architectural style is very simple and very different from the Internet celebrity design, which is better integrated into the local area. The upper courtyard is even more unique, making full use of the space. The public area is very large, and there is also a swimming pool. But because I came in winter, if it was open in summer, I must go swimming. It must be fun. The service of the housekeepers is also very attentive and answers all questions. If you don’t have a travel guide, you must ask them. There are seagulls in this season, and you can feed them at the door of the store. Next time, I must come to play in the summer.

This time I took my parents on a trip and chose the Manwu in Haidong. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is full of design and very beautiful! The single-family house I booked has good privacy. The two rooms are well-arranged. The large living room and terrace are convenient for the family to eat and drink tea. The public area of ​​the hotel is also very beautiful, with many sofas and chairs. You can lie down and enjoy the slow time anywhere! The hotel's own cafe downstairs is also very comfortable, facing the Erhai Lake. Secondly, the breakfast is very rich, with rice noodles, coffee, porridge and desserts, and goodnight desserts in the evening. Finally, I want to praise the service. The housekeeper added my WeChat on the first day of check-in, and sent messages in seconds. In short, it was a very satisfactory stay experience, even the picky parents praised it!

Manwu Jimu is located in Wenbi Village, facing Cangshan Mountain and overlooking Erhai Lake. It has a superior geographical location and a unique architectural style. It is not the same as the Internet celebrity style, but more local. When you walk in, you will find a different world. It has a large public area, which is very suitable for three or five friends to gather together to watch the sunset and chat. There is also a large swimming pool, which is very beautiful for taking pictures, especially at sunset. I went there in November and the weather in Dali was a bit cold, so I didn’t go swimming. Next time I will definitely come in summer [grin] I really like this trip to Dali. I will definitely come again next time if I have the chance.
