Sisan Shuanglang

An incredibly unexpected experience! For a family trip, it fulfilled all our expectations for a short getaway. It was thoughtful, meticulous, and very reassuring. We enjoyed exclusive access to the Erhai Lake from our double corridor. We came specifically for Xie Ke's design and also for the hotel he personally operates and manages. It's clear he's constantly upgrading and renovating. You can tell the owner truly understands employee management, embodying the idea that 'management inspires goodwill.' Service details were evident everywhere. As for Xie Ke's design, I took a hundred photos to pay tribute – a perfect experience, absolutely wonderful. It's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, definitely worth staying at.

Perfect! So perfect that you don't need to stay at Aman, Bvlgari, or Lux! If I had to pick one flaw, it would be that the shower water temperature isn't very stable!

Absolutely loved Xishang (夕上)! Every corner exudes an artistic vibe, and each design detail showcases unique taste – truly a masterpiece. A special shout-out to the hotel butler for their warm and attentive service; it made us feel so welcome. Looking forward to staying here again next time I visit Shuanglang.

Huge thanks to the entire team at Xi Shang Shuanglang for their thoughtful service – my stay was fantastic! The room was comfortable and quiet, the bedding was high-quality, and I had an amazing night's sleep, waking up feeling completely refreshed. Mr. Xie Ke's renovation is absolutely stunning and provides excellent privacy. Even though it's in an ancient town, the soundproofing is superb. The afternoon tea and breakfast are crafted by a professional chef, tasting completely different from what you'd find at a regular restaurant. They even offer thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and a bed-warming service. The environment is incredibly beautiful with breathtaking views, and the service is wonderfully attentive – it's super photogenic! If you're coming to Shuanglang, you can book here with confidence, no regrets. Five-star recommendation! The staff even gave us a tour of unoccupied rooms, allowing us to see different room types and hear many fascinating stories about the hotel's renovation. It was truly insightful. I particularly love the redesigned flow of the hotel; it really sparks a sense of exploration. I'm a big fan of Mr. Xie Ke's design. I hope Xi Shang continues to excel!

This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in Dali! I've been to their sister property, the Xishang Hupao, before, and the breakfast, service, and privacy there were all exceptional. Xishang Shuanglang is just as great, with a semi-buffet breakfast. I highly recommend trying their dinner – it's fantastic value for money, with every dish carefully crafted using local ingredients. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking. The room design is simply top-notch; it feels like staying in an art gallery.

After the renovation, the privacy is much better. The service was excellent, and the barley ginger water at check-in was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was also good, with a wide selection, and it's served until 11:30 AM, so you can sleep in and have brunch. Coffee is available anytime, anywhere. The aromatherapy scent was also my favorite from last time. This is one of my two favorite hotels in Shuanglang. Overall, it's very comfortable.

The environment and service are absolutely superb! It's the kind of place where you can just relax all day without needing to go out.

Service: The service was excellent, top marks! Hygiene: The hygiene was generally fine, but the headboard had a strong, unpleasant sweaty smell. It was so bad that I practically slept at the foot of the bed and on the sofa, switching between them all night. Environment: The environment was excellent; it's definitely one of the more worthwhile places to stay in Shuanglang.
