Xinjia Meixue Shejishi Guesthouse

My family and I stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful time. On arrival we were greeted by the owner, who assisted with getting our luggage up the laneway to the guesthouse. We were then treated to barbecued local foods, before going to our apartment. The owner was a wealth of knowledge on activities in and around Dali, though she doesn’t speak English so be prepared if you don’t have a Mandarin speaker with you (Google Translate or similar should do). The laundry has no dryer, so do your washing early if you need dry clothes for the next day. Overall, we were very happy with the accommodation itself, it was great value for money. I will stay here again if back in Dali, which I plan on doing. Give yourself more than 2 days though, it’s a beautiful city and there are so many things to do.
