Modern Home with a Firepit, Heated Pool & Spa

Very nice property The home can use a deep clean but overall it was clean and ready for us. Biggest issue was the pool area. Several places have tile that is broken or missing. The landscape needs attention with a lot of weeds. Grill and smoker were unusable because they had not been cleaned in quite some time. Also lots of leafs and dirt on the patio and outdoor furniture. It didn’t appear that the outside was prepped for our stay. This may be because it is early in the pool season. Communication with the owner was great before we arrived. But she missed my message on the day we arrived. Nothing vital but not expected.

Disappointing Stay I booked this house for me and my friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. Check-in was smooth. As I walked around to see the house before all guest arrived i noticed a dirty towel on the floor in one of the bathrooms. The pool was also very dirty. I reached out to the host and she came right over and addressed the issues. Problem 3: Once guests arrived and got settled we tried to watch some television and no shows were about to come in due to poor wifi. I reached out once again to the host who said to reset the modem and it might fix the problem, which it didn’t at that moment. I explained to her that we really need the wifi to be working due to a guest having a podcast interview. She explains about the modem and if we pretty much didn’t like the house we could leave. We just wanted what was publicized on her VRBO add for the house. Problem 4: 1st night and the next day (morning) we didnt have hot water. Host was very rude and never wanted to take Accountability for her house not being up to par. When trying to explain to her our frustration and how inconvenienced we have been she tried to seem as if we were attacking her and told her that we should leave. We all came from out of state. Backyard had so many overgrown weeds and shrubs. The pool tiles were broken and you can tell they were very old. Pool water didnt filter very well. Woke up to about a foot of water out of the hot tub. Patio door handle broke off because of an old screw. This was an Unpleasant stay.

Dallas Stay The property was clean and the owner was responsive to questions. The rooms were comfortable and the location was close to the city. We used the pool quite a bit. The outside could use some attention. Tiles were falling off the pool and the landscaping was overgrown. All in all, we had a good trip.
