Hotel room (and hotel in general) was hot all three days I was there. 80 degrees during the day and never got below 75 at night. No self parking and no where close to park, must use valet at $50/day. Towels, sheets and duvet were all very low quality and not what you expect from a 4* hotel. Will not be returning

The room was dark, dreary and beat up!! The windows were so dirty you could barely see the street. The lighting was so poor I had to move my suitcase to the window to see.

Was such a great experience and the beds were really comfortable! The area surrounding had lots of places to see and stop for a drink. This photo was from cowboy chow next to the hotel and they had a wonderful environment as well.

I would describe this place as 'Spartan'. Only pretending to be a luxury hotel because of the old building and the location. Once inside things are more run down. The room was tiny, had a rock hard bed, a TV from approximately 2008, and a dirty bathroom floor.
If you're traveling by car, I would find a nearby parking lot and walk your things over. The hotel only offers a valet for $45 dollars a night.
On the positive side, the location is excellent. The attached coffee shop, and AT&T plaza across the street offered great food, and its a very short trip to Deep Ellum with lots of things to do.
Overall experience is "Meh" for the price.

I couldn’t travel, so I don’t arrive at the hotel. However, the hotel was not able to give me some money back so I don’t recommend this hotel because there are very un flexible. Not a business standard like usual.
Sorry to say that I stay in many hotels however, if you travel so much sometimes you have a chance
I think hotel should be more flexible. The most of the hotel are very flexible because it’s daily business for them.
So I don’t can’t recommend this alter for business travel

I didn't stay there because after I made and paid for the reservation I googled Magnolia for reviews and found within the past couple of weeks people left horrible reviews saying the rooms were filthy, holes in the towels, dirty blinds, paint peeling, homeless people in the lobby, furniture chipped, and hair came out of bathroom drain. I just didn't want to take the chance of taking my daughter there. I made a reservation through another website for another hotel and lost my money for Magnolia. I would have used Trip.com but the other site had a better price. I know they claim price matching but since the reviews don't seem legit, I wasn't about to take the chance on the price matching.

Everything was terrific! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location right in the ATT discovery district.
